What!!! Just sold my first item on rmah for £60 :)

What did you sell?

been farming hell - Act 3 and might just be me and my bad gold 120%/magic 112% find. but the highest yellow I managed to get was 58 and same as a few people can't put anything on AH, added a few things to rmah but nothing sold :/ i guess it has to be uber spec to sell.

This, really got bored of the game, started playing some Hardcore for fun however farming Act 3 and getting super low drops of some good items (nothing in like a week now) and always playing alone what is the point, time to do some other things, hopefully I can sell some more gear on rmah and some gold :)

I haven't logged into the game for about 2 weeks I've pretty much had enough its really boring as the rewards are just not there.

Ok the elite packs drop decent amount of rares (still way to many low lvl though imo) now, but you still get rubbish affixs and weapons with 200dps.

This is my only fault with the game. I don't find it boring, but I do get a bit tired / frustrated at seeing low level drops on Act 3 champ packs. Killed a Demonic Tremor pack yesterday with these affixes:

Took me a few tries to get them down, was soooo hard... and for my trouble I come away with a rare "Spine" (level 51 dagger, 90 dps), and a rare "Great Helm" (level 52 helm). Total joke.

Yep, gear drops is the biggest issue with the game, it's all fine as you can gear up cheaply using ah, you can most likely get very good gear to do act 1 inferno easily for like 1 mil, but then it's the act 2 wall and even bigger act 3 wall where upgrades cost way too much and if you don't get lucky you just won't be able to progress. I got very lucky, when I started doing act 2/3 I got few drops which I managed to sell for good gold, then I bought upgrades for myself and was super happy. I thought that my good drops in act 3 were going to be regular accourance but how wrong was I. Huge demand and low drop rate of good items drive the prices up way too much. And after you clear the game there is very little initiative to continue playing, it fast becomes pointless grind as even then to upgrade your gear to do some crazy dps requires some super expensive items.

Think ive played for 60hrs (i know not as many as some people) and gotten 1 drop which i can use for myself.

Others are not even worth it!

How long did it take you all to get that decent item to make some money in the rmah?

Going to try and farm act IV on Hell again, and see if the drops get higher as its a higher act.

If you're farming Hell then Act 4 is the way to go as it's the only Act in Hell that will drop 62's. Would be much better to move to Act 1 Inferno though if you can. Can't remember how long it took me to find something worth a decent amount of gold (1 mil+), once you hit Inferno it could take 10 minutes or 10 days.

I moved to hell to get some money to get better gear as getting elite mobs was proving hard for me. to get my valour up. yeah just played 30min before work and 59 rare (6) to be exact dropped. Again nothing of use.

Will wait for 1million mark n get myself a 1k weapon.

Act 3 brick wall for my barb! :o difficulty jump is crazy, can't kill a single elite despite being able to steamroll act 2 with my eyes closed.

And nothing at all sells on the gold AH anymore, have no interest in using the RMAH as personally i can't stand it in games ugh =/ its completely ruined the AH concept for those of us who chose not to invest and sell for RL cash.

Had a very lucky night last night, but it started badly. Picked up without noticing a Plan: Perfect Star Emerald, which without really thinking about it, I taught to my jewel crafter and then realised I couldn't do anything with it because I didn't have the Flawless Star Emerald taught. Just to rub it in I went on the AH and saw the plan was selling for 3m. As you can imagine I wasn't too happy...

Then just as I was thinking of logging off for the night, the Flawless plan dropped :D

So dissapointed with this game really, I loved it the first two playthroughs, especially the belial fight but the loot just ruined it for me. Im in hell now and it just feels unsatisfying basically resorting to buying off the AH to comfortably playthrough.

Just prepurchased torchlight II on steam and got the original free, must say I'm enjoying even the first game moreso than diablo

I don't get how people have so much cash. I mean how much are people making an hour etc. Was there some crazy exploits to get loads of money? I've played most nights since release and have got 2 lvl 60's - my demon hunter is in act 2 inferno and my barb just made it to act 3 inferno and at this stage both chars at a brick wall if I'm honest and it's just not fun.

I ended up kiting the barb out (bought some gold to do it :( ) for about 1-2 mill and it made my game a lot better (up to act 2) but I see upgrades now at ridiculous prices (either for gold or rmah). I recon if I hadn't bought anything I doubt I would have more than 2-3 million in total. I've had 1 item drop that made me 350k on ah other than that just garbage.

I've got the point where I feel I can only farm hell level or possible act 1 inferno (at a push) but what are the chances of getting stuff worth loads (I assume the lvl 62+ items are where the big money is at).

I simply dont understand these posts......ive been doing act 1 & 2 inferno runs, I have about 50% gold find and 0% magic find (but obviously work my way up to 5 Nephalen Valor) so have 75% mf in the end.

When I play, I do so for a couple of hours a night and come the end I would have made around 200-300k gold (that includes selling my trash rares and general pickup) and the rares I keep I sell on AH. But ive sold plenty of items in the 300k to the 2 mill mark. My gear im wearing at the moment is probably worth about 20mil all in all.

What mystifies me the most are those people who cant afford to repair their armour, wtf!!? I die very very rarely with my barb maybe as my vit, resist and armour is pretty well stocked, so maybe thats why but still find it strange.:confused:
