What is a good "time" in farming greater rifts? My barb is currently farming GR42 but its taking me 7mins long. I feel like I'm wasting time and should go down a few levels. Thoughts on this?

I take it you as solo doing grs? I can solo gr 86 at the moment which takes me about 12 mins.
I would join groups and do gr 70 then you may get better gear or if your on obe evening I can take you through some gr 70/75 as I am on most evenings and if I get anything for the barb I will drop it

Yep I mostly play solo. Thanks for the offer, but I hardly ever play multiplayer. Does multiplayer bring in better gear? Or is running higher rifts with better geared players bring in better drops?
doing higher rifts and grs will give you better drops as you will need better gear to progress to the next rift or gr.
I am guessing you have not unlocked all the difficulties on multiplayer due to not completing the solo grs?
If you want to join some gr 70s your welcome to tag along and this will hopefully allow you to progress higher in the solo grs as you should get better gear

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. My Necro is still stuck on only two pieces for her Inarius set. No matter what I do other pieces simply will not drop, be that solo or group. I'm getting loads of legendaries and set items drop, just not the ones I need. It's doing my ******* nut in as I can't progress further with her until I get the set pieces. Have gone through countless thousands of bloodshards too, and again other set pieces drop but oi bloody Inarius pieces.
Just ran a rift and nearly every blue or yellow enemy and almost every chest dropped a legendary, so the only thing I can think of is that I've ****** the RNG fairy of in some way and she's refusing to drop my set pieces.

I do rifts for keys and then grs for gear and levelling gems as I Mostly scrap everything from riftsbut saying this I do get at least one or two greens per run
Your welcome to tag along some grs if your about tomorrow? I can solo up to gr86 so maybe can do some 75 or 80s.

Currently doing the same, rifts for keys and GRs for gems and gears. Thing is, it doesn't matter what I do, or who I tag along with, I never get a piece of the set I need. I get a metric **** ton of other set pieces, but just not any Inarius pieces. Like I said, it's really doing my head in as I can't past GR30 (ish) solo without the remaining pieces, and they simply refuse to drop. In fact, I've just spent another few thousand bloodshards and got **** all - again.

I just need to do the set dungeon for the Slayer part of the journey. The only thing is, the set dungeon for Uliana's Stratagem is nigh on impossible without the 'cheat' amulet (The Star of Azkaranth) and I haven't had one drop yet.
The ue dungeon set was a pain to do and took awhile to do but did it in the end. I am up to conquer now on the journey with just need to do 2 x conquests which I have done one of them

Well bugger me sideways, after all this time I've just had a third piece drop for my Inarius set. ****** stats, but it's one piece closer to getting the set bonuses. Only three more to get, and if this third piece is anything to go by I should have them all by early 2019.

Will that ring that gives you plus one on your set help until you actually get some more? It'll give you the 4 piece bonus sooner 
I am on the same gr, can complete it but just short of time 2.3mill now and argumented a lot of items.
I'm not finding any new gear either, most of them are ancients as well. Takes so long to level gems to 80 and then using them to argument gear.
Most gear just gets scrapped at the end of each rift or gr and my main gems I use are on 92/93/95.
Yeah I only just learnt about augmentations and have only focussed on my main 3 gems which are all 86
Going to take a while to get another one up to 80!!
What class are you?
I'm a dh with the ue build. This is my first season using argumenting and it takes a lot of time to get all your gear done and argumenting only works in ancient or legendary items
Finally cleared GR98 with 8sec's left, got lucky with mobs being densely packed and a few well placed shrines otherwise I'd never have done it. I badly need some upgraded gear but just not getting the drops, burnt through so many shards I could have built an entire fort from them. Same with db trying to re-roll items.
Unbuffed around 1.2m, when I get going with everything up it’s around 4m. Took me around 45secs to defeat the rift guardian. At that level I have to drop some DPS and replace with damage mitigation items in the cube and make sure I keep the band of might proc up on elites.
