You are missing out on some important bits on dh build, discpline, amulet, and thrill of the hunt passive.

A few pointers for your dh.
You are missing the most important passive out,thrill of the hunt.That is what procs your bane of the trapped gem when you use multi shot....massive dps increase, only thing you have to proc bane of traped is the 15yard aura.
you want 12 discipline on bow/quiver chest.
even though your quiver is ancient its useless, there is no discipline on it.get rid of it for one with 12 discpline.
Shoulders, change area dmg for 8% cool down, you need 100% uptime on vengence.
Chest piece, change all rest to vitality.
Amulet, best in slot with focus and restraint is a helfire amulet best stats are %fire dmg crt chance, crt dmg.....you have a choice of the 5 passives it can roll, awareness (extra life helps big time).

just changing them things will give you a massive dps boost, even with no ancients or arguments you can do grift 80+ in 4mins with 800 paragon.

i managed a 96 this season and not even fished for a good rift, 100+ with a bit of fishing.

Is anyone else having this problem? For some reason over the past two or three days whenever I do GRs I'm not getting any Legendary Gems dropping (even if I better my previous times), that wispy bird appears and allows me to level up ones I already own though. Also, Key Wardens aren't dropping the keys required to open the portals.
 
once you have all the legendary gems, they wont drop untill you use one up for augmenting, i think keywardens are 100% drop at t13, any thing less than t13 and they are not 100%.

I have changed a fair bit now and took a hit on the DPS, on 1.95 mill now but got everything you said

dont worry about the sheet damage atm, the extra dps from set bonuses, gems, fire dmg, etc far out way what the sheet damage says.
the biggest damage multiplier on the UE set is the 100% damage per point of discipline, think max discipline is 86.
not sure if your profile updated, but you want cool down reduction on shoulders, you need 33.3% to keep vengence up 100% of the time.with gem in helm, paragon points you need 2 other things with cool down on, shoulders is a must because you dont lose any damage stat by having cd on them.
theres a few other items you can put cd on, gloves,quiver,rings.....gloves being the best imo....dex, crt dmg, crt chance, cool down.rings crt chance crt dmg cd.

quiver is by far the hardest item to get all the right stats on, i had a primal dead mans quiver drop and it was junk lol.

mal what items do you still need?
hopefully i will be on later and your more than welcome to join me to blast through a few grifts.

Looking at my shoulders it looks like I rolled to the wrong stat so will change that tonight. All the info I got was from the icy vines website.

I'll be on tonight if anyone wants to do some grs
 
So i just bought the necro pack after not playing d3 since torment 6 was the top difficulty! Just really had the urge to play it again.

Was i right to make a seasonal character? I seem to recall that once the season is over the paragon you earn will be added to your normal account?

What is recommended for me on this new character? I have just been doing a bit of the story but is it an option to just jump in bounties from the start? I've done the story so much now i would really rather skip some of the acts lol.

I would start with bounties and not bother with the story mode.

If you want boosting to 70 I can do this tonight if your on? should be able to do it quite quickly. I would also start with the free set you get for doing the seasonal journey and then save items that you need for the set you wish to use then change over once you have everything.

I would also start with this site, quite handy to get you started and what to look out for on armour

Great info thanks. I had no idea about a 'seasonal journey' so will look at it when i get home later. I would certainly appreciate the boost later if you are free and willing, and am more than happy to return the favour :)
