*** The Official Diablo III Thread ***

Started a WD and leveled to 51 on expert, which is a breeze. Should find time to get it up to 70 before the weekend.

First ever WD I've played and enjoying it so far. Looking forward to working my way through some GRs and trying out a few different builds

7/13 ancient pieces atm, garg crits inside BBV are mental.

GR 60 done in 10 minutes solo. Should be able to push for towards 70 with a few more pieces, still need the cat mojo for survivability.

Five items done so far with level 60 gems, so an extra 1500 strength on my dude. It's definitely noticeable. Do a few more to night and maybe I'll be 13/13 by the weekend. Might need to farm up some more red gems. Anyone have a good plan for farming gems, other than the obvious thing of wearing a broken crown with a ruby?

If you are only short on red gems, you can use the cube recipe to convert other colours to red. Just make sure you have exactly 9 of whatever quality gem you want to convert and its 500k for the reagent from squirt.

Make a new Barbarian, get it to lv8, and gamble boots at Kadala. Lut Socks are the only legendary that a lv8 Barbarian can get and you should get one every 200 shards. Then cube it.

You can do this with at level 1, i got mine in 3 draws. Kadala being nice for a change :D

so i spent a few hours just doing bounties last night.

this is my first season hints the noobish questions

the drops at the end, what should i be doing with them as at the moment they are just sitting in my chest lol

i take it one is used for rifts? im a bit lost when it comes to crafting\forging etc

So get your character to level 70. First you get your first 2 pieces set as a reward. Then kill Zultan to get the 2nd 2 piece, giving you the 4 piece set.

This stage just fire a up a game at Tor 4 difficulty, adventure mode and do a bounty to make sure you can handle it.

Once you can, open up a regular a rift at Tor 4 to hopeuflly get a GR key. Use the GR key to open GR lvl 20 and complete it to get the final 2 piece giving you 6 piece full set.

That should get you started. Make sure you get the cube and then just farm from there.

In bounties you can do the all 5 act quests and collect from Tyreal in the end to get the cache and then just right click on it to open it get your loot :) Then just keep upgrading your gear, Look for legendaries and set specifics etc depending on your build. You can also gamble your shards on kadala for items. Also upgrade your legendary gems by doing GRs

Thanks for the help, ill get to level 70 and then go from there. Gives me something to start working on.

i can do the bounties on hard on my own at the moment so don't think my crusader is doing too bad (or am i? lol) he is level 46

by Tor 4 do you mean tournament 4 on the difficulty screen?

Torment 4. So where you set the difficulties you can slide up right and you will see Torment 1, 2, 3.......10

Your DPS will gauge what difficulty you can handle so try and get it high as possible without sacrificing Toughness too much to get the right balance.

i know where you mean now, i must have miss read it when i looked as thought it said tournament 4, not brave enough to venture up that far yet! lol

thanks again for the tips. ill keep it in mind.

I'm sticking with a relatively straightforward whirlwind build this time around, wont get me too high in the grift stakes, but it'll do me, comfortable at t7, a little risky at t8 for the moment, still got some tuning to do on the gear, should be able to push a bit more once that's done.. no rush though, work gets in the way of fun a lot.

Usually around in the mornings though (this week anyway), if anyone needs a boost, just ask in clan chat and I'll help out.

Well I managed to clear a 70 with the leapquake build, but still not too happy with the game play. I much prefer the hectic play style of Raekor. Leapqauke is quite slow and methodical. Problem is Raekor is damn squishy. At the moment Rift Guardians one shot my Raekor barb in 60+. Need to work on some more toughness for him as overall the game play is amazing fun. Maybe a few more ancient items and some augments will help with the toughness issues. The leapquake spec does not seem to have toughness issues until 70+.
