I have not been keeping track of the evloving of the Crusader builds, but it was used in most of the builds at the start, to be honest.

Big massacre. For me anyways.

Manage to knock together a wastes set. Is there a good build for season play? Remember before dust devils was pretty strong?

Edit - Sorry forgot about the ultimate guide.

Dude, literally about 5 seconds after you left the group, I got another wand of woh drop. It would have been yours if it dropped just a little earlier.

Never too late. It is much more polished with plenty of content. Join the fun!!:D

But I've sort of missed the boat as far as playing with my friends who will all have far more experience than me now.
One of the things I learnt from Diablo 2 was that it 5x more fun with a friend than solo. Solo it probably doesn't have much longevity at all. Is Diablo 3 the same?

If they play season (which imo where it shines) everyone starts again from level 1. So it be no big deal.

if they don't, they may have a head start but you would be surprised how quickly people catch up. The Multiplay is a lot better now but it still definitely more fun with friends.

with regards to the season rewards, does the pet give you any stat boosts? Ive got the full set of gear now but just cant seem to do the set dungeon to finish off all the season tasks. Just wondering if its worth persevering.

How long do the seasons run?

season is 3 months, you can get better set gear from rifts and grifts but you get a basic set for getting two 70, killing a boss and doing a solo rift of 20.

I'm still searching for better set gear but have not found any since getting my free set

Recently picked the game back up again to play with some friends. Made a seasonal wizard and managed to get both rings for the LoN set. Got 3 ancient items since then, so went from 7 mil average crits to 35 mil average crits in around 3 hours :D Hopefully a few more items will put my damage squarely into crazy territory so I can solo higher rifts.

I personally think so. The little guy follows you around picks up all the gold for you!! Plus he says "I am Groot!

Ok maybe not the second bit but he is cool :D

Don't bother withe the LON set if you're playing a wizard - the synergy from the class sets are much better. Even the freebie Firebird set will have you up in the GR40 s without any trouble.

Had 3 of those consumable add socket to weapon items last night within an hour!

My Seasonal Wizard is now my best character, quite like this explosive blast build. Got an ancient Wand of Woe, although only 75% splosive damage :(

Are there any characters that are generally overpowered or underpowered without rare items?

Need to decide what to play!
Is there any drawback to making my first character a seasonal one?
They all become normal characters after the season ends right?

If it's you're first ever character then there's not really any reason to not make it seasonal.

They become normal when season ends yes.

Season is always the most fun, getting too start again without anything and doing the grind. The grind is not too bad in this game. Actually thinking too come back, gameplay looks like a lot of fun on DH this season and I miss playing it since I went too Monk once the seasons started.
