*** The Official Diablo III Thread ***

Finally got a decent rift on EP monk tonight, Silver Spire with Bone Warlock as RG, dont think ive ever seen a rift go so smoothly.

Anyway nice place to start in the top 200 with a 77 in 11:57 so definatly room to improve on that clear.

The funny thing was i had about 10 attempts on 75's and kept getting close but not enough. I bump it up to 77 and get a gg rift within first few attempts, typical.

Shows why fishing is such a factor in clears. :)

Armoury profile here for anyone lookin at the build

EU boosting and clan invites?

I've recently returned to D3 after playing briefly in vanilla. I'm hoping to be on tonight as the gf is spending a rare night out, and wondered if boosting to 70 in a few hours is possible?

Is anyone going to be on who might be availble to help out and throw me some advice? Also looking for a clan invite if possible. Would be nice to have a social circle to ask questions and the like.

78 down on the WD in 14:51, density was good but had some awful packs and Orlash as the boss  should be able to do 79-80 with a good rift and boss.

Can any of you LoN bomb experts answer a quick question?

Does having %damage affix on my main weapon help my overall thorns damage? Or is it pointless for this type of build?

Jeez. Saw this thread and thought, you know what, I really enjoyed Diablo and Diablo 2, I'll give this a shot. Thankfully my Lenovo Yoga tablet can play it, so downloaded the starter, played it through to the end of act 1 and am hooked. Came back to read more of the thread and it's like you're all talking a foreign language!!!! :D

Was the game I got a friend into PC gaming for (I built him the most cheap n dirty gameable setup I've ever put together for it - he then upgraded out of it to a decent setup).
He's still hooked, I found it a bit repetitive. It's extremely good for the first run through. It's also had a LOT of work done on it since release so it's on the "to do" list for one day (along with the other blizz releases of starcraft 2 part 2 and 3 :D ). Might well tick your boxes though :)

PTR has been datamined, some very nice changes and barely any nerfs.

http://www.diablofans.com/news/48667-new-ptr-patch-datamined-march-2nd

Raekors is gonna be crazy again just with that 2 set buff.

Helltooth Pet will probably overtake LoN unless they buff LoN damage % for every ancient piece. No changes so far.

Nice was wondering when we were going to start hearing about the PTR. No doubt most of this will be reworked before live but its nice to see some of the direction their heading in.

Could have predicted the rend dmg multiplier to WW barbs.

Taeguk:

Taeguk will now only work for channeled powers
Taeguk will now stack more quickly, but also drop off more quickly. The maximum is now ten stacks, and you’ll now lose the stack after 1.5 seconds instead of 3 seconds
The Armor % component of Taeguk has been changed to 2% per stack

Oh well, it needed a change I suppose.

Some changes involving group play.

Solanium is getting an internal cooldown (ICD) of 8 seconds
Twisted Sword is getting a cap at 5 Energy Twisters

the final patch will be NOTHIN like that datamined info, it never has before and it never will.

Thats the reason we have the PTR, stuff will seem awesome then get dialed back in a bit to make it competitive.

More interested to see if they can fix group compositions to remove the need for multiple supports.
