*** The Official Diablo III Thread ***

Sorry to sort of change the subject again, but what's the difference between season and non-season play? Is it basically the drop rate is worse in non-season?

Season play - you start with nothing and everything in non season character/iterms/stash will not be accessable or shared. There also season only new items / challenges which can give you further incentive and rewards.

Non Season play - can pretty much do everything (Non season stash/items/characters) apart from the season only items and challenges. Past season items/characters are added into your non seasonal game as well.

Not convinced chainer is innocent. He says he streams all play but the stream hours on his channel don't match with the hours played this season. Not to mention pretty much all of this SoS clan getting banned, find it unlikely that some of them wouldn't be in on it.

Did he not get caught before?

Query on this, My current season has multiple tabs of stuff - will this all be carried over to the non seasonal stuff after? I don't think there is enough space in the non season tabs

Yes - it will all come through like a message ingame when you click on it, it will list of all the items you had in stash. You will then get timeframe to make space and you can then transfer directly onto your non season stash.

I generally dont keep anything in my stash no more because i play season only. Only keep the odd character if they are all decked out. There really no point tbh, every season the seasonal setup gets better and better.

The guy has issues, I despise botting and was longing for him to be banned but you can just tell by looking at him something isn't right in his life. D3 is his escape, it's all he lives for pretty much.

It's a shame the only tactic that seems to work is to ban them towards the end of seasons but by that point a lot of people have already gave up due to the botting issue anyway.

Yup, he does seem genuinely addicted to the game or at least needs that escape.

He'll be back. Doesn't take long to start a new char, plus starting a new season is like starting fresh anyway, so doesn't make a huge difference to him apart from losing his paragon level.

Pretty funny how he was suddenly doing normal rifts (that's what he normally bots) to get grift keys after the Chinese ban waves happened

He will need to buy the game again right?

Anyone permabanned will need to buy a new copy.

A Blizzard moderator really should find his battletag from next season and ban that instantly. He will 100% bot and HUD next season like the previous 5.

At this point I would IP ban him if I was in charge, he will never change and his influence on the community is toxic as hell. I bet hundreds of people started botting from his influence. He's the botting overlord.

Under their ToS they can't ban new accounts for previous ToS violations on old accounts.

IP banning is useless.

Even a hardware ban would be, the guy makes at least a thousand a week when D3 is popular on twitch, buying new hardware/services is no issue for him.

I heard something interesting on a stream earlier, a few weeks into this season, somebody calculated how many hours the season had been live for an added up all the playtime on Gabynator's characters this season and he'd been logged in for like 423/424 hours that the season had been live for, and the hour that his account was offline for was sevrer maintenance. And he has the cheek to deny it and get salty about his ban...

Relatively casual D3 player over the years, but had to post my (late and slow) achievement. I have just unlocked my final chapter IV reward of the pet and portrait frame after around 45 hours spent on this Season/Character (Crusader).

The final Invoker set dungeon was by far and away the hardest challenge. I had completed all the others around Paragon 70 but had to keep farming Rifts, Bounties and GRs just to get some of the items for the dungeon. And even then I didn't master it, just completed it. Although I reckon I could probably go back and do it easy enough. Took maybe 6,000 blood shards for the Belt of the Trove to drop (that lady is a rip off merchant!).

Anyway not sure why I didn't play Seasons earlier becuase that was really good fun just getting this far. Helps to have some focus and introduce some of the end game content.

Tempted to return for Season 6 and level a Barbarian. Now on to some other games.

Paragon 289, able to farm T9 pretty comfortably now despite no socket in my weapon. Still no damn Ramaladni's Gift. Really don't want to reroll 10% damage off of my WoW :(

Got a Ramaladni's Gift at the weekend :D
Nice chunk of extra DPS, need to see if I can run T10 now. Internet was a bit laggy so T9 was a bit iffy at times so didn't want to test 10 :)

They should just purge that whole clan. I find it highly unlikely that there would be innocent players in that clan who are oblivious to the other 150 players botting.

There's a stash tab you can unlock with a few more hours of play; which is very useful.

Thank you for the heads up.

I've had a look and it looks you need to complete Conqueror which is another 4 chapters on from Chapter IV. Also with requirements like level 3 legendary gems to level 55, I sense this will take more than a few hours though. Feels like it's too much for me now at this stage in the season.
