Apart from the new mission is there anything else new in the open beta compared to the closed?

Also I read that there is some unique unlock you can get from the open beta for when the full game launches, anyone know what this is?
 
Should be on the Beta on PS4 tomorrow night from 5:30ish if people want to team up? Add me - Shawreyboy

Still mulling over getting this on PS4/PC. Anyone else in this situation?

Played for the very first time today, for about an hour on the xbox one. The sheer amount of information displayed on the HUD, together with the third person perspective really makes for a claustrophobic experience for me! It will take some getting used to....
 
Thats the ONLY complaint I had about the game too hen - but you soon get used to it all and find that its required and is quite handy later!

Check out the visual settings. The auto-hide HUD option does what it says on the tin.
 
Darn you microsoft!!

Looks like the DLC will be coming to the xbox a month before ps4!! - grrrrr
Shoulda known this was coming seeing as xbox players got the beta's before PS users.

Lets all thank Microsoft for "breaking down the walls and keeping gamers together"

Be reyt, it's nothing new, COD has done this for ages. You don't lose out on anything, I look at it as after a month the XBONE players will be bored of the new DLC while its new and fresh for us PS4 users.

Only small concern is spoilers, unlike COD DLC, the Divisions will be expanding the story

Its weird the off-time between betas and the game has quelled my hype for this game...

So can you actually play this game without going into the Dark Zone at all? I'm not keen on the idea of you getting killed and then people running off with your inventory.

They only run away with the items you've picked up in the dark zone but haven't extracted yet.

You can carry up to 9 items with all perks unlocked, if you die as a neutral you will only drop 3 of them.

Anything in your inventory when you enter the drop zone can't be stolen. The best loot appears to come from vendors rather than drops so I wouldn't worry too much

Yep but dont forget one of the DLCs makes the whole map a DZ AFAIK - unsure at this time if that can be avoided or not

I suspect a lot of the less-grindy ways to get things will be via the DZ and I wouldnt be surprised if they put more effort keeping that up to date over the story mode.
