Just found a 2 day Xbox live Gold sub card thingy you are more than welcome to if you want to try it out? I assume it hasn't been used as the silver thing on the back is untouched.

Thanks - I've got XBL gold already but it will run out by the time the game launches. So that's why I was wondering if you need it for the full game in March. The Dark Zone seems to be the only part where you can interact with other people.
 
Good game. Its a better Destiny basically.

Beta runs very well on the XB1 , just downloading the PS4 version. Doesn't seem to be any tangible difference for a change.

XB1 gets the DLC far sooner mind, and expect the servers to be more reliable. Its a tricky choice.
 
I have to say, I'm fairly impressed. AI can behave a bit weirdly at times and they badly need more dialogue, actions etc because it gets repetitive quickly seeing and hearing the same stuff.

One thing though: What does it mean when you loot a bag or cupboard or whatever and you just get a circular grey marker appear on the ground next to it?

You haven't got enough room in your inventory, e.g. your ammo is full, your medkits are maxed, etc.

It'll be something you can't carry, check you're not maxed on grenades/ammo.
 
Sent you and a few others that were in the group last night a friend request Dredd. Was waiting for the group to get space but it never did and had to go get dinner. Hopefully see if we can get together at some point over the weekend ? Dark Zone is so much better with friends.

No problem, that's the way it is with a max group of 4 :) I came back later and nobody had accepted my request, so just thought I'd mention it here in case anybody wondered who the FR came from.
 
Definitely getting this now. I'm starting to feel HYPE!

Anyway, that video above still doesn't really explain what "skill power" is? How can your pulse have a power? Does it increase in range or duration if you have higher electronics? What about the little turret? Does that get an increase in damage?

Yes its things like the turret doing more damage, the shield having more health, the pulse reaching further, the heal can heal you more etc..

Its all still a bit unknown at the minute but thats the general idea.
