Downloaded the free Xbone beta and played some last night, gotta say my first impressions were "This is Destiny but less Sci-Fi" but i liked Destiny so its all good 
I really enjoyed it, run around a bit, found a Dr woman and shot aload of people in the face, it seems really cool and looks good and runs decent on the Xbone.
So this afternoon i bought a copy from Shopto.net, they sent me a beta code straght away, however when i go on the division website and beta part and put the code in it comes up as Invalid, not sure what the score is, anyone else bought from Shopto and had similiar issues?

ahh cool so i dont need to worry then just slap the game in when it arrives, any idea if the beta is just this weekend and thats it? im tempted not to play again and wait for the full release on the 8th.

Nice, i bought Destiny Legendary edition today anyhow to tide me over and hone me reflexes until Division lands lol

Cheapest place to buy on the ps4?
Played a few hours of this today on the Xbox. Looks and runs great, but gameplay feels shallow to me, but then I never took to Destiny either.
Maybe it's a game that needs to be played in a party/group, but it's not much fun solo, especially in the Dark Zone.
Glad I played the BETA, as I doubt i'll be buying it.

I guess the beta presents the game in its best light - particularly the promise that the rest of the game is just as good.
Ive found it only really enjoyable with a group in the DZ (but thats with all games really), the story side just hasnt grabbed me like Destiny did, I cant fathom ever grinding any of it just to level up but then I dont think Ive seen enough to make me think theres Destiny-like grind beyond the RNG on drops.
Nothing particularly wrong with it - the gunplay/gameplay is sound; the sound is still off IMO; graphics are nice but man the idea of permy-Winter puts me off; the RPG elements do seem (overly) deep. Just doesnt feel like the time I spend in the game is really an experience but somewhat a timekiller. I think with whats out this year that Im really looking forward to I might just pass on Division for now.

Graphically it's superb, the weather and atmosphere is just ridiculous.
I feel the combat is very weak, each weapon just feels soft and uber hard to aim.
I couldn't care less about the story either, much like Destiny - what's the point?
My biggest gripe is the DZ. It's taken hours for the game to be ruined by ***** similar to GTA.
I just wanna run around, collect gear, level up etc. Can't do that though as there are so many groups of guys running around killing people for no reason.
I don't understand games that encourage people to act like complete *****, it's similar to a racing game and the other guys spin you out.
If I do buy this, I can see several Xbox controllers getting ripped in half.

Thats the point of DZ..
Run round collecting stuff, but hang on i want your stuff so ill kill you..
Thats the fun of it.
Me and brother just in our team of two, went rogue etc and got loads of goodies
Lost a lot as well because other teams did the same.
In b4, cod you shoot to not die
In the division DZ you shoot to not die but to also keep your goodies and get others
So they arent killing you for no reason, they want the gear you have spent ages collecting

It's rather amusing that you have to walk everywhere yet there are cars all over the place. Can't wait to hear how they explain that one in the game, maybe the virus has rendered fuel inert or something.
I should imagine at the outbreak of the virus, the bridges/tunnels out of Manhattan were shut so there was nowhere for cars to go. Then the army/Division/whatever went round siphoning the gas tanks for generators or stuff as there was no power.
Well I just played the subway mission and really enjoyed it. Hopefully the none pvp content improves also. The side mission just seems like fluff in comparison
The dz is only ine part of the game. There are going to be 8man raids unless I took that wrong.

Is this a grinding game like destiny then?
I've not had a chance to play but I'm only a casual player, would that put me at a huge disadvantage or just an acceptable amount? I appreciate I would be lower geared but would like to if it's playable.

Its a post apocalyptic scenario. No new fuel is getting in because the place is in lockdown and all the fuel that was in Manhattan has been used.
It would appear to be a bit like that, but not as bad as destiny. At least in the division you can craft something if you want it. You're not at the mercy of waiting for it to drop.
speculation so far. Nothing confirmed, but they did confirm there is much more to the end game that they haven't told us about yet, so it looks likely. Especially when you consider things like the unused option on the UI to organize where your second set of team members goes .....
Just don't go there then. There is tons of content in the PVE section of the game that just isn't unlocked in the beta yet. This is the level of content you'll see outside the DZ in the full game
