Got the para LMG not phakan this morning and its pretty meh. Would be better with some high end mods in it but also got a crap roll.
Vector next then time to upgrade gear and mods until a bolt-rifle pops up

Indeed. Also gold items that drop from challenging mode are ilvl 30 not 31.

Blueprints got off the BOO Special vendor are Item level 31

I was watching a farming run last night and the grind to get high end division tech is real. The chests only spawn on timers and if they are looted by someone else you have to wait for the re-spawn (at least judging by what I saw / the commentary).

I'd stick with the blueprints from the base of operations for now. Farming for division tech is just so ridiculous its not even worth trying.

The grind does seem excessive for the tech as there are multiple levels:

- Hoping that you are on point with the chest spawn timers (refresh timers is probably more accurate);
- Hoping that you are the only one farming on the current server instance (someone else farming ahead of you - bam, nothing for you);
- Hoping that they actually drop what you need*.

For the last point I am not sure if what they drop can be converted into the High end version which is required for the DZ blueprints or if you have to get high end out of the chest specifically... If they can be converted then you only have to worry about the first two points.


*From the run I was watching the chap only got blues and greens from his entire farming route
 
Ok got me the vector 45 ACP blueprint. Got a mid range DMG roll :(

Getting high end gear is easy. Getting the right stats and right rolls is a nightmare!!! And will take time and mats.

Picked up the first wave DMR from one of the safe houses pretty good purple rifle.

Not wasting any more time on weapon time to chase 31iLvL gear

Guys any tips for maxing out the upgrades for the 3 departments? I'm 90% in all, but require 500 or so for each one, really don't like the thought of grinding through all the 'virus research' missions...
 
Was playing DZ with Dredds earlier and saving phoenix coins for the vector blueprint (about 10 off whats needed). Then a midas SMG dropped for me so don't think I will bother with the vector as well. Not had chance to test it out properly but its a beast.

I complete that on challenging yesterday.
Twice.
Both times it bugged out and didn't give us any rewards.

Two and a half hours down the toilet.

They need High End Division Tech to construct which is seriously hard to obtain and can't be farmed easily (go check now how much you have and it wil be tiny compared to your other mats)

Its all about the vendor in the base of operations whose blueprints only need regular crafting materials.

But they don't have blueprints for all slots.

My division tech is in the 40's so i can roll a few things at least!
 
sorry for being such a noob, but how do i use the mods?
I have lots but cant seem to assign it to a weapon! Currently running a purple machine gun with extended mag and handle but there doesnt seem to be an option to add a mod
 
O... Why is there weapon mods then?

I wasbalso trying to suss this out last night aswell. Only annoyance with this game is there is so much going off in the menus, I get lost with stuff lol
