***** The Official Division Thread *****

Does anyone know if the the possible recalibration options are locked after the first roll? I decided to do some testing on a purple item, and after 6 rerolls it gave me the exact same options every time.

no. They are random each time. However some have lower chance than others (says the guy who spent 240 phoenix credits getting a slot on his holster)

So I started my second character last night and the race to 30 starts again ;p

Cheers to everyone with doing challenge mode(s) last night, still looking for that first high end M1A :(

I really wish the division just had a "convert all/ convert x amount" materials option for crafting. It is really tedious converting over 1000 low end materials into their equivalent high end version (too many button presses)

Team "Village People" is starting to take form now. Just need to make agent's 3 & 4 ;p

That's exactly what I'm trying to do, infuriating.

Think ill wait until recalibration costs credits rather than burning through Phoenix credits.

Why that isn't in the game I have no idea. To make matters worse I keep getting the timing wrong (hit circle too early) so end up spending even more time in the stupid crafting menus.

Just let me craft all my greens straight in yellows (or at least Blues) *argh*

The crafting system just seems unnecessarily long winded when it could be "fixed" with a few minor UI changes.

If it just removed the need to have to press back to "re-craft" the same item that would be a start to speed up the process. Even just have an option to make x5, x10, x20 times as an option surely can't be that hard to implement. I understand that calculating from green to high end may be a bit more "complex", not impossible just more maths involved really, or convert the required materials when you select the blueprint. eg. you are 2 short of y item (but you have x amount of y's low materials to make y)

CONCLUSION

To sum up the list of changes brought with update 1.1 in regards to item drops and crafting, we will:

Increase drop rates of High-End items on named NPCs (100% drop rate, actually)
Increase drop rates of Division Tech, to make it less of a bottleneck than it currently is
Modify loot tables for each named NPC, to make the hunt for loot more controlled
Increase conversion costs of lower quality materials to high quality ones, making it harder to convert low quality materials into high quality ones
Decrease construction yields, making it less interesting to farm lower quality items in order to obtain crafting materials, and because you’ll get more High-End items as a whole
Increase cost of crafting High-End items, because High-End materials will be much easier to come by
These changes will not only make crafting and dropping more coherent towards each other, but will also make it feel much more fun and rewarding.

know if its 100% rate from named challange mode boses or just DZ bosses

Majority of high end drops are garbage anyway, at least it means crafting materials I suppose.

Changing it like this is going to shaft those that play solo, most of the items they will get as HE will very likely be from crafting. That's just become 3 times as tedious.

Oh, and good luck extracting anything in the DZ. Every extraction is going to be like flies around ****.

Just had a weird one running a hard daily challenge with a group of randoms...

We had just killed the last group of baddies, and was just making my way to pick up the purple loot...when I suddenly get kicked from the group! Not a happy bunny :(

No really point to this post other than to just vent really.

If it is a "thing" now, I don't get what people get out of it!?

It's not like it means that they get extra loot or anything.

Might just sell the game on then if they're shafting single-players, been hearing that the DZ is pointless for a while now. I don't do multi-player so pointless me having it. I suppose 'possible' to play alone and 'fun' to play alone are very different.

The DZ isn't pointless at all...at least in my own opinion.

I've only ever run the DZ solo, in fact have spent a few hours in it the last couple of nights, and haven't really had any issues to speak of. I've not had any issues with extractions or come across big groups of rogue agents. Now granted I haven't ventured into the high DZ zones, but then I'm only DZ level 25 and not particularly highly geared either.

Sure I've run into one or two rogue agents that have annihilated me, but that's all part and parcel of the DZ...it's a PvP zone at the end of the day, you enter the DZ knowing full well what could possibly happen and what you could loose or gain...you just have to take the rough with the smooth.

Should really try and get some of the old gang together from the good 'ole Destiny days to run daily missions, patrol the DZ on a regular basis. I miss Milky and his banter on a Friday night lol....thinking about it though, maybe there's a reason why none of the 'ole gang have invited me to join them lol

Does this not happen the odd time when the owner leaves the group ?

I have had this happen to me once. I normally get kicked before I even load into the zone lol

Their loss because I find its myself that's dragging the team though the random Challenge mode.

People have got used to camping in the tunnel that they think its the best tactic to use now in all them which is wrong.

Power station you have to flank and push from the very start or you get trapped in a nad fest.

Same in the RC you need to flank and push.
