£53.05 for the case + £13.86 VAT & RM Handling = £66.91 all in

Mine was packed thus:

I would think they'll have packed six of these into one big box. Quite surprised if they didn't.

Might be an idea to open them up and check them before passing them on, especially the top and bottom ones.
 
Yeah I will definitely be opening them all up to check, I will try and take photographs of them all this weekend and if anyone is unhappy with them then I will have to contact Dodo.

I've just emailed everyone who was part of the bulk order to check for correct postal address :)
 
Got the cases and I have opened all 6 of them.

Depending how picky you are over quality then you'll be happy/annoyed. Personally I'd be happy with 2/6 of the cases with the other 4 having some very minor blemishes on the leather exterior.

I will take photo's this weekend and it is up to people to decide what they want to do. I will contact Dodo to see what the procedure is if people want to return them but I guess you would have to pay postage for this.

I tried my iPad in 2 of the cases and it fits perfect. As I've said, the only minor quality issues I can see are with the exterior leather having very small blemishes. I'm an extremely picky person with design but I think it really is down to the individual.

To send them out to people I think the only fair way would either be everyone is happy to receive any of the 6, and I do a lucky dip sticking postage labels to random boxes. That way no one, including myself, knows what case they are getting until they have been posted out.
 
Extremely minor on 2 of the cases and slightly more noticeable on 2 others. But that is when you're inspecting the case close up. THe whole point of the case is to stop your iPad getting damaged so I'm sure the cases would get scuffs and marks on them in a matter of weeks anyway.

My moleskins normally look a bit scruffy after a bit of usage as I chuck them in my bag, which is what I'd be doing with the Dodo.

I dont think there is any way to make everyone happy here

I am ok with the lucky dip idea, its going to be too much hassle to sent it back now, disappointed with the manufacturer tbh.. Tom is there any chance you can provide pics of the cases faults?
 
If its just blemishes then count yourselves lucky you didnt end up with warped cases!
Blemishes are just cosmetic so i wouldnt really worry.

They are too be expected when its coming from America. The parcel is guaranteed to take some bashing along the route.
 
Found this in my subscriptons earlier, got a guy from DoDo Case on it.


1:30 - 14minutes ish

Got my snugg case today. Pretty nice, feels good. Wish the stand was a bit better but oh well - happy with it
 
Packaged up now, sending out RMSD in an hour or so. Should get them tomorrow :)

I think postage is £4.50 but I will email you all once I know exactly how much it all is!

Decided not to put photographs of all the blemishes up as you'd start comparing your case to someone else's and think you got a worse/better deal out of it. You get what you're given in the exact same way as they come from Dodo.
