Turns out the parcel wasn't delivered on Saturday, it was the letter saying how much I had to pay to get the parcels delivered! Thats what happens when the office manager is on holiday and we get a stand in, I've only just got the letter today!

£48 for 6. So everyone owes me £8 + postage to their address once I get that sorted. The parcel should be here tomorrow or Monday latest and with you lot by Wednesday next week I expect!

£8 Parcelforce Clearance Fee

All paid for, delivery tomorrow! I will try to get post office Saturday but it might be Monday lunchtime :)

Got my notice today, £13.86 VAT & Handling, 17 days from it being posted in San Fran. Would have been 18 days if I'd paid it online and had them deliver tomorrow.

Just got home with it and I must say that I'm a bit miffed: The bamboo is warped, so the iPad doesn't sit in properly; and the front panel is bent outward, so it doesn't close properly.

That case looks like it was physically abused on the journey from the US.

I'd straighten the front cover but that warped wood will take some mending. Gutted! :(
 
There have been a lot of happy buyers so maybe you're just unlucky with that one! It's annoying as I guess they would either ask for it to be sent back for a refund or send a new one out to you for nothing. Hopefully the latter! Can't wait for tomorrow :)

Rootin for you bud! But just make sure you get what you paid for! £50 is not a small amount for a case!
 
That's really bad going. Heard a few of these stories of late, part of me thinks that they're rushing through manufacture due to the backlog of orders. QC seems to be way down unfortunately and you're hardly alone in having problems.

It's put me off buying one completely for now. Long lead time, high cost and bad quality control. Might order one closer to the end of the year when they've got things sorted (hopefully). In the mean-time I'll be keeping my eye out for anything similar.
 
So glad I had mine in my suitcase when I came back from the states.

A US work collegue had one at our HQ he didn't like it so I picked it up for a couple of beers:D

Didn't even have a iPad at the time.

Still undicided if I will keep it or go with the Apple case, I have lent it to my mate so he can decide if he wants to order one.

If you don't mind me asking how much has yours come to in total?

Cant wait to get them tomorrow! Hopefully they're individually packaged inside a bigger one otherwise I'll hunt sound for suitable packaging.

I think for the 5 other people that bulk ordered will have paid £38 + £8 + shipping which I'd expect to be a couple of quid, so about £50 each.

about £63 in total, give or take a pound.
 
Yes I'll ask for the rest of the payment once I have dispatched them all. I don't want to charge you too much for shipping :)

I'll email the 5 other buyers tomorrow to check I have all the right details.
