Massively different games using the same characters.

(Geometry wars also an indie game and was hugely successful from the start of the 360).
Those are just ones off the top of my head sure there are plenty of others and that is just the ones I can remember from XBL and I haven't owned an xbox in a while.

Playstation also has things like
Journey
Flower
Guacamelee

So yes indie games are big deal.

How many of those are actually self published Indie titles? Where has MS said those titles can't come to Xbox One? None of those were XBLIG.

Donkey Kong looks a bit meh... It makes you appreciate how dam awesome and a head of game the SNES version was.

I mean that looks wise, it looks nothing special. I still play Donkey Kong Country today and it's not far behind what's been shown here, given the spec of the SNES.

I think theyve shown with the XO that that nickname is entirely apt once again. Shame, thought they had learnt, but you could say that about EA, for a period of time they seemed to have turned it around but very quickly decided to do a u-turn.

Well - overall a pretty poor show from Nintendo, I can see why they didnt have a proper conference now.

A few things that looked nice but nothing mind blowing - was hoping to see an F-Zero or a Pilotwings for the Wii-U.

A lot of Nintendo fans will be happy, for everyone else the PS4 and Xbone..

Factor in all the different platforms and there's to many games at this point for me to ever actually play..
