Dude....

Seriously?

Seriously what?

DRM has zero effect on people that will play games legitimately. (Ignore the lending games issue as that's not what we're discussing here).

DRM will make it even more difficult than usual for people to copy games. Which last time I checked is brilliant news.

Seems that a lot of the people who are annoyed by this are the ones that might now have to actually pay for the games.

I know Michael Pachter spouts rubbish at times but he reckons MS will drop the price of the Xbone by Easter 2014 when they see the PS4 outselling them by 100,000+ consoles each month.

I fully expect a Kinect free cheaper sku very quickly, I fully expect drm restrictions to go through a major revision also.

MS should be back in the game at that point, it would amaze me if they push on with current plans and they look to be something that can be changed.

Lol.

Where's my facepalm.gif

GDDR5 actually has less latency measured in ns than ddr3, and the Xbox has only 32mb ESRAM as a cache for the 5gb usable memory, so whilst it will help it's not going to pull trees up.

Far from it.

Just researched this, GDDR5 is a faster version of DD3, it probably has double the bandwidth and latency is actually the same. Xbox has a much larger on die cache than PS4, but it's smaller than I thought. The PS4 is more capable than the Xbox.
