I am a supporter, and would like to know how detailed planetery entrance will be. Are we going to have space stations to dock with on the surface? I hope the descend ascend to orbit will be amazing.

Thargons are smaller drone ships that can be released by Thargoids during a battle.
Its also a way to cut out the publisher who demands features to a game to be added that are against the original developers vision.
Kickstarter is good as it gives fans what they want.

Pretty much. Working with publishers means that you have to make sacrifices to your vision, often to the detriment of the game. Also, it is difficult to convince publishers to take risks on ideas that haven't been proven to be successful. There is also the risk that they will pull out mid-development and leave the project high and dry, this was mentioned by David B in a recent interview as one of the reasons The Outside ultimately fell through.
I honestly don't know, the likelihood is that this is one of many decisions that we will be making with the help of the community and pledgers, once we meet our target. If it is what the fans want to see though, I suspect that they will make it in.
Sadly I think your right which is a shame - based on the current trends which have been fairly stable its gonna hit around 980K :| which is pretty impressive none the less. I was quite impressed it made it past 400K as it was about that point it ran out of original fans ready to put their money where their mouth was.
If they only had a pr guy promoting it like chris roberts did then they might have surpassed star citizen but nope, the campaign was rushed, not planned out, crap tiers and 20 quid for the game, etc. No wonder its not doing well.
I still hope it does make it tho i loved froniter and would love to play it but i just hate the way they have gone about it all.

Kicktraq has it at 1.3 ish, which is not counting the absolutely inevitable boost in the final days. I think it will make it, prbably by about 50-100k, and thats me being optimistic. It is a worry that he hasnt taken the star citizen route of promising the earth in slices, but maybe thats more honesty. Hope we see the, both 2013/14.
It would be a shame if a decent Elite like game did not get made. Doesn't have to be this one though does it. What I don't want is the Elite name to be sullied by a poor release. Would be like going to your highschool reunion and seeing the hottie you were infatuated about has now put on 10 stone and watches Jeremy Kyle all day.
I think the trend of elite is a lot like sui generis. It never looked like making it until the last day. Literally squeeked over the line with a few hours to spare. A lot of people wait until the last minute to pledge, and there is always a big last minute push with PR as well.
