A game I've waited for, for going on 20 years is finally about to happen. I don't really care what happens in the pc gaming scene now, this is all that matters.

There is one thing I dont understand.
Say you pledge £100. Do you get all the goodies up to and including £100?

No usual case is you get everything listed on that price band only and not everything upto it

You'll get everything upto and including the £100 tier, unless it says otherwise for the Elite: Dangerous KS.

Steady on cowboy, feature wise SC has a lot more to offer

In My Eyes elite has nostalgia running for it and any game that can revive the market elite and SC will share is great

I heard there was a bandwagon that needed jumping on at the last minute. In for £100, just don't tell the missus. I have a brand spanking new boxed copy of Elite on the BBC Micro in the loft with the poster and everything, now is the time to dig that out and grin for a couple of hours.

What I'd really like to see is an age demographic for all of the backers. Bet the average is nearing 40

Don't think so Cavallino. You could have course create a second Kickstarter account and submit two seperate pledges for £20-30 each...

You can buy additional digital copies of the game through the Pledge Upgrade system for £25 as well.

This. You should enter a pledge amount of £100 but select the £75 reward tier. When the KS campaign has finished, you'll be emailed a questionnaire that will ask what you want to spend the extra £25 on -- choose an extra copy of the game. It'll be download-only though as far as I understand it.

If you're going for that, you may as well pledge £105 and select the £80 reward tier as one of your copies of the game would then come with free expansions. The extra copy would require you to pay for expansions still.

Edit: The version at the £80 tier is download-only, so you wouldn't get the box. I'm still getting confused by the different tiers!
