Depends what you need. iA Writer is my favourite for actually writing things. Clean interface and makes some very useful additions to the basic iOS keyboard.

What's the best word processor for opening and editing docx files?
The built-in docx reader doesn't format my docx files quite right so I am assuming Pages won't either.
Price isn't an issue but don't want to end up buying 4-5 different apps and finding they don't do what I want.

This has come up a couple of times before on the forums.
It was agreed that if you punt it out to an offshore company, £5000 is about the minimum you're looking at. I've yet to work on a project with a budget less than six figures though - but there's for something fairly complex with artwork, video, sound, back-end servers, etc.
