PCalc Lite - FREE - Calculator, this is something the iPad doesn't have from the start, a calculator.

BeejiveIM - £3.49 - Best messenger app out there, it even stays log in when you exit, and push any messages like a text message on an iPhone onscreen to tell you that you got a message while you are in another app. Which you can choose to ignore or go to BeeJive to continue the conversation.
 
Wasn't going to bother with 1Password, I really should as I have lots and lots of logins, but it's 50% off this week, along with the iPad app so worth it!

$24 for desktop and iPad app together!
 
1Password is a universal app. If you have the iPhone version then you get the iPad version free, so to speak.
 
I know its been mentioned before, but I haven't enjoyed an iGame as much as Angry Birds since MotionX Poker years ago (dunno why, just had me hooked :p)

Angry Birds is seriously brilliant, I've nearly done episode 5 and noticed on the iPhone version there are loads more levels... maybe they'll come to iPad soon?

they've been released to iPhone over quite a long period of time. So ipads should be In the making :)
 
Is there a proper facebook app? I've only managed to find the iPhone one, which is obviously a bit... pants on such a lovely screen.

It is! Better than early edition!

This is the main page, you flick down for more "channels", each horizontal line is 1 feed, and flick sideways to see older posts, and when you do that, only THAT line is moving, the rest stays stationary on the page.



You can read the feed mostly text or like it on its original site, for example here. Depends if the feed or story you are reading is a text rich or photo rich content.




tap the bottom left (blue triangle) and the feed's thumbnail bar will pop up again.

I was going to get log me in just now after reading the line about being able to play games on your iPad that are installed on the PC. But then I started to doubt it was possible?

So could you literally play Left 4 Dead 2 on a iPad via Log Me In connecting to a PC with it installed?
