ASCN high command has a policy about hiring merc corps. We don't. They'd just send one of our PvP wings out if we wanted a fight.

I've just about given up ever trying to get my head around the politics in Eve. Too many kiddies junked up on twinkies waving their e-peens around for it to ever make sense.

:) hehe, exactly, I'm just getting involved up north as I want to try out that aspect of the game (been an Empire bunny for 2 years) and sampled most of what empire has to offer, now I want to see what Alliances, 0.0 and war's are like :D yet I still hate the politics and general one-up man ship everyonse seems to engage in.
 
lol I dont get the stupidity of so many CEO's who hire ex Burn Eden pilots, just look at Heinky s employment history, a case of chronic spying if I ever saw one..F-E, ASCN, all interspersed with Burn Eden corp every few months
 
Alright, just been my first now, i've done all the agent missions (first and second guy), 450,000ISK in cash, a cheapo frigate, and a cheapo railgun thing. What do I do now, other than mine that is? :o :p
 
you can find a new agent, open your map (f10) put up the display settings, then stars, and select my agents, this will cause a green blobl to show on the map everywhere you have a usable agent.

Actually your wrong. Heinky is one of the greatest pilots in EvE. He has been around since the start and was one of the leaders of The collective when Stain Alliance was first formed. He has left BE a few times to persue carebearish interests. One time this was when he simply ran out of money. Every other time has been when BE were taking a break from eve, which we do a couple of times every year. And every time it has been by personal invitation. He was also a FC for FE and had full access to all the fleet hangers. Nothing was stolen.

But lets say you don't believe me.

At the time when Heinky was in ASCN, FE or The 5, BE were either inactive or not fighting that enemy at that time. Secondly, if we wanted to spy on somebody, don't you think it would make a lot more sense to put in one of our many many alts with no BE corp history? Finally, what real good would we gain having him in FE for a month or so at the time BE was elsewhere? I mean we may find out minor tactical things etc, but nothing worth so much effort. Now, lets say we had an alt or two in ASCN at the same time we were attacking them. Those alts could fly cov ops ships to get us spots on miners. We could listen into their TS while we were fighting. We could find out freigter movements as they were happening etc etc...

You see my point.

Well it looks like those F-E batties hired KIA, makes me laugh really, any self respecting alliance shouldnt need to hire Mercs. Now were gonna have -5-, FE and ASCN (maybe not ascn) spamming the forums with "OMFG WERE SO LEET" when none of them had the balls to do it on their own, oh well :)
 
Indeed it is. Ive never understood/endorsed IRON's strategy/politics to be honest. It looks like all the bad decisions and chest banging they have done in the past is going to catch up with them, hehe. Should be fun tho :)

I've not used, but have heard that the following works well:

Hi's 6x Cruise (best you can get your hands on) with Devastators (the exp dmg type if I am wrong)
2x Heavy ***.

Mids: XL Shield Booster, Boost Amp, 2x Exp hardeners, 2x Kinetic (all t2 if poss)

Lows: 2xBCU's, 3xPDU2's.

I'm yet to fly a raven, however.
 
As a raven pilot (hangs head in shame) Id use torp launchers with Bane torps, Large N-O-S, 1 Explosive, 1 Kinetic, 1 thermal active T2 hardners, XL Sheild Booster, Sheild boost amp, 3 BCS T2 and 2 PDU T2. Not to forget medium explosive drones.

how many Torp to take out the Frigates then, Cruises would be better, & too add a little flavor a target paint for the frigs/cruisers.
