That isnt in a fire fight, its weird, thats just going along normaly, even when ive docked, quit and restarted its still on fire :D

You got structure damage?

My retribution was on fire for over a week when a ratting session went wrong and I had 32% structure but couldn't be arsed to fly back to station to fix it :p
 
HACs are a silly waste of money unless your getting them cheap, why pay more when your insured battleship can take on 2 HACS...and not referring to the overpowered ecm + *** + domi

thats a thorax in muffins pic isnt it? i didnt think he could fly anything else ;)

oh and me and a mate logged onto test server last night, he's trained to bob standards on a moros and i'd trained up to use a thanatos and wanted a 1vs1 :D

we hop on sisi and it mirrored just before i bought and trained the carrier skill and guess which skill isnt seeded :(

so i had to go out in a megathron while half of SA had titans and motherships out :S

His other character can fly a deimos, hence the camo skin in the pic.
Certainly getting through them like ammo ;)

:D first time and only time i've had a demios i got caught in no mans land when a g fleet warped in, i think i was mwd'ing to a target that had warped off and g came in a a bazillion km as they always do, i was like "oh bogey, what do i do now" in reality of the slugfest there was only 1 thing i could do and that was roast they're support that came in close but before i got a chance the entire g fleet lit me up and insta popped me :D 5 minutes of fame, i never got around to replacing it, i've tried eagles + munnins and just stuck with munnins from there on in.

Seriously though I suppose I'd love to fly a HAC but with the current prices and the fact that I would need to train HAC5 to get the same sort of performance as my battleships (at lvl5) I keep pushing it back in my skill schedule.

And of course I do love my insurance. :D
 
HAC's form a different role to BS.

They are faster, smaller, some pack a huge punch, others tank like crazy etc. etc.

HAC's are absolutely ideal for hit and run. Battleships are cumbersome, very heavy hitting beats that you'll often find are much more limited in terms of what you can do with them.

HAC's - fast and furious somes it up, need to be johnny on the ball when piloting these puppies in a lot of situations.

and having more to lose can add to the fun :)

HAC's are not really THAT expensive though, but I do agree the insurance situation is a real nuisance.

Should have a Deimos in about a month, 11 days until I can actually fly it but I'm going to finish the weapon skills as well before I actually get one.
 
I finished Sharpshooter V last week, completing the pre-requisites so I can get Large Hybrid Spec and Large Blaster Spec now.
