oops never go AFK to read the forums while sat at a planet in 0.4 while flagged and bradcasting said flag in local :D

I was sat there, turned to the forums had a good old read, turned back to my PC and saw :

Scorpion
Raven

and three heavy drones :)

managed to tank them while I wapred off lol - they had 0 points of tackler gear pointed at me :D
 
OK, noob here. :)

I need to increase my learning skills to level 4 (so I am told).

Under my learning tab I only have 1 skill though, "spacial awareness"

Will more learning skills appear under it in time?

Help! LOL :D

EDIT: Basically how do I do this??

"After you have reached level 4 on Analytical Mind, Intelligence, Instant Recall, Memory, and Learning, you can then focus on training up your other attribute skills"

Thats from the EVE webby. Fair enough, but *how* do I increse these skills??

UOcUK Poopscoop, learning skills are very important in the long run, but if you are in your trial and you want to get the most fun out of the game then train more fun stuff like ships and weapons, you can always create another trial with better attributes once you know what interests you the most.

While your warping make a bookmark in People and Places, works like a charm. Or if you want it to be safer, warp to the spot you just made, then warp to another object and make another bookmark while your warping, so your not inline with any two objects.

Hi guys,

Well my alliance seems to be going down the pan. The war with Contraband has really messed things up and my corp is moving a little too slowly for me. Looking to join STK if i can, can anyone point me in the right direction?

The alliance is currently at war with 2 corps and so far only one has taken action and thats Slacker Industries.

some of you may have heard of them but they are a dedicated PvP corp that declare war on random corps and are very highly experienced in PvP

i got jumped by 3 of them

2 interceptors and a Battleship,

i knew i was doomed when they warped in considering how fast my shields were going down.

was great fun though :D plus it was insured so didnt lose much :p

hehe yeh :) problem is i can't quite master the whole killing part :p

but whilst skills train for PvP'ing im gonna work on supercharging my hauler :D

14km/s anyone? ;)
 
Just started this over the last few days & last night completed the tutorial. Would you vets recommend joining a corp asap or give myself a few weeks to get to know the game better?

With regards to skills I read somewhere to get them all upto lvl 3 in the first few weeks, is that good advice?
