i don't know, like i said its what i presume. Have you manually downloaded the patch and installed it?

try test patches.

Copy your eve installation to somewhere else first though and then install it.


Normally it does auto-update - but with the problems they are having i doubt it would work. I was lucky, i installed this test patch the other day to go on the test server

test patch... if it says test patch in red leters on the left dont install it.

Restart the login window thing and try requesting the patch again.

Mine looked like a normal patch program with no mention of a test patch.

Well mine updated last night and it pushed the test patch to me, I was able to log in fine though.

I guess I'll find out when I get home.

I couldnt get in last night at all, logged on this morning around 7am asked if i wanted patch downloaded it loged in sorted training and came to work. So it all seemed ok to me.

Logged in at about 3am this morning no probs, was very smooth and lag free. Windows opened no problems, no delays etc.

Was a bit nostalgic as it reminded me of the times when EVE was nearing 5K Peak record it was that smooth.

There was only 10k players on at the time mind.

Im still really enjoying the game i only started about a month ago, i think the daily shutdowns are great means people can go eat

I am now getting to a point where im thinking of goingout into below 0.4 spec space how dangerous is it?

below 0.5 means u can be attacked by players. So its dangerous
