Bisping is a decent fighter and deserves to be in the UFC.

He beats everyone and only fails at the very last hurdle before a title shot. He's never going to be good enough to beat Silva (who is?) but consistently beats top 10 fighters.

I like Bisping, so this isnt an attempt to bash him - but name a Top 10 fighter he has beat?

Whenever he has made the step up he has lost.

Rashad Evans - you could argue he deserved the decision, but he didnt get it.
Dan Henderson - got smashed.
Wanderlei Silva - held his own, lost out to late flurries.
Chael Sonnen - did better than many expected, but still lost a clear decision.
Vitor Belfort - KTFO.
 
My main issue with Bisping has always been his lack of knockout power! The rest of his game is pretty solid, even exceptional in places, but I just never get the feeling he can KO an opponent with one good shot - which for a striker, is a pretty big issue imo!

I'd love to see him work on his power, come back and KO a top-10 guy to get back in the title picture!

I see what you're saying but who else is top 10? He could have been awarded the decision in 3 of those cases (he SHOULD have been given one of them).

The only thing missing from his game is KO power which unfortunately he will never have. He is still an excellent striker, has decent bjj and good defensive wrestling (as shown in the Sonnen fight).

He will never be champ but will always be comfortable somewhere in the top 10 (IMO).
 
I agree when bisping comes up against a name he hesitates lacks confidence, which is a shame because when he is on form he looks great

Bispings greatest achievement is having so many fights in the UFC but not one possible highlight reel moment in his own favour, it really is astonishing.

Bisping is a good all round fighter but does not have that ability to end a fight. He can outwork you on the feet but no way he's knocking you out or even tapping you out.

The only way you are going to beat a top 5-7 guy is by finishing them or destroying them on the feet for a decision. Bisping will not be able to do this, he's about his peak at the moment. Don't think he will ever get a title shot the top 5 in middleweight would smash him.

Rampage vs Teixeira is an interesting one for me. Glover has the stand up to KTFO of Jones and a win moves him towards that but I would love Rampage to go beast mode and leave on a high note.

Oh and I hope the Janitor wins.
