Worth a listen if you have the time:

www.ufc.com/news/ufc-158-conference-call

its torture listening to diaz. he talks for ages without actually saying anything or making a point. a managed a bit of a listen in this one and he just sounds paranoid and contradicts himself every other sentence.

entertaining fighter though with a good skillset. not enough to beat GSP though imo

I hope Carlos Condit knocks Hendricks out he's so over hyped for a guy that barely won against Koscheck. I watched his ko of Fitch and he wasn't even out cold, even GSP knocked Fitch down like that but he had time to recover.

Just gotten around to watching the Rousey Vs Carmouche card....

The main event, as expected, not up to much, neither was the co main event.

Not a bad card other than that however.

mark hunt vs JDS ufc 160.. WTF! jds will destroy him.. hunt is to static just like roy nelson was.

hunt v nelson would have been a better match up in terms of position in the ufc.

Really looking forward to JDS vs Hunt. JDS will likely pick him apart however Hunt has that one punch power. He hit's harder than Cain does who has JDS in trouble a few times during their fight.

No matter how much you can take a punch, if the guy throwing it breaks jaws he's always got a chance to win.

Has anyone used UFC.tv and if so what is it like? I normally watch for free at work but sods law the only day we are closed this month is fight night! Is the quality good SD/HD? can you pause/rewind? Sync issues?

I've used it for some of the free Prelims and have found it to be an excellent service with great quality (and much more stable than the Facebook stream), you can indeed pause and rewind. The only thing to take care with is if you are not watching live they use icons in the timeline to show key moments if you are not in full screen mode.

Huge step up in opponent for Hunt. No doubt it'll be a fun fight but JDS takes it for me, maybe with ease.

Its hardly a level that Hunt hasnt fought at in the past though - Cro Cop, Fedor, Reem, Wanderlei, Mousasi - hes fought people of JDS's class before. Ok, hes lost to them, but I imagine he can hang with JDS reasonably well.

He's certainly fought big names but I can't agree that Fedor, Overeem, Cro Cop & Silva are on the level of JDS, but that's just my opinion.

He's fought some insanely tough guys there is no denying that, I never said they weren't beasts, it's just even in their 'prime' I couldn't see them beating JDS - it's just my opinion, that's all. And let's face it, it's hypothetical. There's no way of finding out.

Hunt vs JDS will be an interesting fight. As Cain showed, the easiest way to beat JDS is to nullify his stand-up, keep up the pace and stay aggressive. Against a good wrestler with the right tactics JDS can get unstuck, but against other strikers he normally dominates the fight. He's got excellent boxing and although Hunt has serious one-punch knockout power, I'm not sure he has the cardio to stick with JDS. He looked tired against Struve but was lucky that Struve was also tired and didn't use his height and reach advantage properly.

Been watching the promo videos and can't help thinking GSP is dismissing Diaz as a serious threat. Going to have a cheeky bet on Diaz as the odds look too good to pass up. I'm really looking forward to the Condit / Hendricks fight too, just hope Condit doesn't do his running man impression.
