Woah, did not see that coming. Expected Nate to smother him, but that was a pretty decent KO.

Really not sure where to rank Ellenburger to be honest, hes so up and down.

who is the really confused looking old guy in the blue blazer? he looks like he doesnt know where he is or what hes supposed to be doing.

I think we all thought it would go the way it did. GSP put on a control clinic, nothing that Diaz could do about it.

Bit of a shame, because as much as I respect GSP's talent I really struggle to enjoy his fights, he is a point fighter - not saying thats a bad thing, as winning is winning and it'll make him a lot of money. I just dont find insane control particularly entertaining.

This 100%

I can't understand how he has so many fans. He is soo boring. I've gone from a GSP fan to rooting for his defeat. Hendricks then Ellenberger lets see if he survives. Or gets interesting. 15 minutes looking like your making a bed isn't worth PPV money in my eyes. Good job the Hendricks / Condit fight was 100% entertaining otherwise I would have regretted paying for the PPV.

nice to see the real carlos condit again. i thought all co main events were 5 rounds? or was it 3 cos of the change of fighters.

georges taking way too much damage these days and it looks like he is struggling to keep the muscles fed with oxygen

condit won his fight, he showed a lot of skill and different techniques, hendrix got take downs and a few heavy punches landed thats it!

Wasn't a bad event overall, glad for jake ellenberger and the condit v Hendricks fight was great. The main event was pretty predictable and I think Rich Hanson summed it up best

Nick Diaz, I think, hates fighting. I think he's smart enough to know that if he's going to make money he has to do it. I think he wants out desperately, and all of the anger he shows is from self-loathing that he's stuck doing something he hates to do, but is very proficient at. I think whenever he flashes anger at anyone but himself, most of that anger is misdirected.

So, with that being the backstory, anyone who expected anything but GSP GSP'ing Diaz was merely predicting what they wanted to see as opposed to what history and logic mandated would actually happen. There's no more to say about the main event, other than the fact that even cynical little old me bought into the Diaz comeback near the end of the third round... For about 20 seconds.
