any love for UFC 170 on saturday night?

my prediction for the Rousey fight = McMann takes Rousey the distance and is more dominating, then Rousey wins by dubious judge decision :(

Surely Rousey by armbar is the bet to go for? :p

To be fair I've never seen McMann fight so can't comment but my money would go on Rousey because she has been dominant in every fight I've seen her in so far in the UFC!

Less interested in the remainder of the card since Evans was injured tho!

I disagree with that, with hindsight the Fight Night card looked better than it actually turned out to be.

I love watching the Women fight in the UFC, they seem to fight with more passion. Rousey is fast becoming a character you watch 'cos you want her to get beat, she has no class and seems immature.

It'll be interesting to see if Cormier can function at 205 & if Maia can totally derail the MacDonald hype train...

Not the worst card ever. Some nice match-ups. Looking forward to MacDonald-Maia more than any other fight. DC should walk Cummins and probably will. Can't see McMann making it out of the first but who the **** knows. Never really understood the Rousey hate but who cares. She certainly gets people talking and wanting to tune in.

Everyone fighting at the top of the card (main and co-main) is undefeated. First time ever I think.

I was actually a fan until she did The Ultimate Fighter...at which point she came across as a total ***** - zero class and no respect for other fellow pro's!

Since she's the "poster-girl" for women's MMA, it doesn't show the sport in a very good light imo!

In a way I admire Rousey's brutal honesty & stubbornness by not letting go of a grudge but it doesn't excuse all the rest of the crazy coming out of her mouth.

She comes across as a spoilt teenager with all the crying and mood swings.. I think she needs a loss to bring her back down to earth.

I found Miesha's behaviour more odd considering she initiated the 'beef' way before the show started back when they first fought, but acted like it was all forgotten during TUF. Hard to forget Miesha's boyfriend threatening to smash Ronda's teeth out via Twitter though. ;)

I'd understand it if Ronda was disrespectful to all of her opponents but those 2 just simply didn't get along. A whole lotta drama over nothing really.

Meisha knows how to play the PR game and the UFC did nothing for fill in the history for the fans. Anyone that saw Ronda's rise in strike force knows there was legit bad blood between them, most of it caused by Meisha & Bryan's comments.

Ronda would snap Caraway's arm off, the guy is a pube. She still rubs me the wrong way though.

Yet another dissapointing possibly early stoppage, i can sort of understand it as it wasnt as early as some and she did get a few undefended punches in but still seemed too eager, especially after leaving Waldburger barely moving for 30 seconds taking a beating.

Cormier - Cummins was the dissapointment of the night, complete different class of fighter and i like fights to mean something (silva v sonnen, jones v evans, diaz v pretty much ever fighter ever) but unless they live upto the hype and the talk it just ends up underwhelming and a one sided first round finish that is normally an easy victory.

all in all not the worse of the recent shows but not the best either, maybe its just me but it seems a while since we had a truly excellent card and an exiting show to look forward too

Would have loved the main event to last longer but when one of the fighters drops to the floor, clutching their body and not defending themselves, it's gonna get stopped.

Cormier's fight was a cakewalk, hard to judge where he ranks amongst the top of the LHW division after that fight.

MacDonald did alright to avoid being smothered for rounds 2 & 3, Maia was terrible at setting up the takedown.

Wasn't a terrible event but I'm in agreement that its been a long time since we've had a really good night of fights, suppose its a by product of having more events and fighters knowing that they're likely to be dropped after a few losses. :(

Some good fights and the 2 main fights over so quickly. Cormier making a statement.

I enjoyed the Maia/MacDonald fight. Maia seemed to tire so quickly after the first round and got picked off!

Watching the post fight press conference, you can see the look on Danas face he wants nothing to do with Cyborg fighting Rhonda.
