Yeah that's a strange viewpoint to take, hah. I'll have to watch the fight again but I'm not even sure he did hit Poirier squarely in the back of the head, more behind the ear, which is legal. Also if it's during movement, and he hasn't deliberately targeted it then it's fully legal.

Its not even a strange view point, its dumb and wrong.

McGregor did nothing illegal, hit behind the ear of a moving fighter, nothing he can do.

Romero however flat out cheated and when he wasn't ready to stand at the call of time should have lost the fight.

Aye it's beyond retarded, I'm just trynna be nice.

John McCarthy should have called the fight right there. You can't stay sat on the stall for an extra 30 seconds ffs. I was raging watching it.

Two separate issues but Kennedy holding Romero's glove while upper-cutting him into oblivion was not cool either.

No suprises there! No 42 year old looks like this naturally.

Weren't happy with McGregor for winning against the rules but happy enough Romero did it?

Thats not what I said - I said I wasn't overly impressed with McGregor - I really like the guy and it was a shame the fight ended so quickly as I'd have liked to have seen more of him against an opponent the quality of Poirier! Not his fault the first punch/forearm hit the back of the head but if it had been intentional, then it would have been an illegal strike!

Romero was out on his feet and saved by the bell no doubt but even Dana has admitted that it was a UFC guy that put too much Vaseline above his eye so it wasn't even Romero's own guys that made the mistake - bottom line is he took advantage and it paid off - not so sure you can call it "against the rules" - although Kennedy's holding of the glove most definitely was!

Apart from him being told to get to his feet numerous times when the bell rang and he just sat there. Vaseline excuse was pretty much a way out of it all, there wasn't even much on! It's also his corners job to take away the stool not the UFC guy.

NAC 467.728 If a combatant fails or refuses to resume competing when the bell sounds...the referee shall award a decision of TKO

As for Cung Lee, HGH is so easy to spot, it bloats your gut like nothing else.

Not sure this is entirely correct source but either way I've clarified my point in my last post
