I love optimism based on current fighter hype. Realistically, Islam will very likely sub Bobby in the first round, but people expect that and it won't matter as Bobbys stock will still rise for him accepting this fight. He's a cool fighter and imo definitely has a little Holloway about his boxing style.

Of course if by some miracle he wins I will go nuts and climb on the Bobby hype train. :D
 
I meant Islam! His likely domination of Bobby isn’t going to do much for him where as obviously if he’d beaten Dariush then you’d have thought his next fight might be to get that no1 contender slot.

Ahh I see, sorry but it could be taken both ways. I cannot wait for Islam and Khamsat to reach the upper echelons of the division, it's going to make for some amazing matchups!
 
Anyone seen the video of Till training with Chimaev?
Till looks a bit bloated lol, but good on him for seeking some better training partners. I hope he picks up a few things.
 
All I care about in MMA this year is more Khamzat fights tbh :D The guy is just everything you want in the sport. Great fighter, brilliant to watch, natural entertainer, and a complete lunatic!

Hasn't had a proper challenge yet though, still just dominating people.
