Have to feel for Oliveira, seems a good guy and had a very good run beating so many top guys.

Makchahev took advantage of one of his glaring weakness however and made him pay.
 
Man sucks for Oliviera, he’s a beast and had some journey. Hopefully gets back on the horse but for some reason he looked a little off it tonight.

Yan was robbed but I do like O’Malley and he really shut the haters up tonight win or lose.

TJ well it’s probably time he hangs them up some unfortunate set backs in his career and this is a long road with little time left.
 
Glad I'm not the only one who thought the Yan fight went the wrong way. I thought he was 2-0 up going into the third but not a lot in it.
Credit to Islam, absolutely dominated him, I dint think it would be that easy for him. I also think Sterling would have comfortably beaten TJ even without that injury. Good night of fights :)
 
Absolutely banging main card this weekend. Can't wait. 2pm start and the UFC have even taken into account that I need to nip out Sunday afternoon so have kindly slid a women's bout in between Dustin and the main card so I don't miss any live action. Sweet! Main card is so good that Riddell and Reyes had to go on the prelims. What has happened to Reyes by the way? Two years ago he was narrowly losing to Jon Jones, now he's not even main fight on the prelims. Brutal sport that, in more ways than one. Tough, tough way to make a living.

I wonder what kind of fight we'll see in the headline. I know Izzy has been criticised for his fighting style but I think this time more than any other he is going to play super defensive and let Pereira come to him and stick to a plan. I don't blame Izzy for fighting like he does and don't agree with those who think he should do more. He's the champ, belt is his, come get it off him. If you can't beat him then tough, find a way. Don't expect him to fight in a style that suits his opponent. Winning is the only thing that matters in that sport (unless you are Connor), ask Dominic Reyes what can happen if you get a couple of losses even against super high calibre opponents. Also the amount of defences he's made has to go in his favour if it goes past the third. I think he wins on decision.

Dustin Chandler is a pure banger too. Chandler by KO. Edgar and Hooker to win. Think Zhang will get a 1st rnd KO. Bring it on :)
 
Can't wait for this card either. Chandler Poirier has the potential to be an epic.

No problem at all with the way that Izzy fights. If he's fighting by the rules of the sport and beating everybody then it's up to others to find ways round it, if they can.
