Good card this weekend, lived up to the hype. It will be interesting to see how a rematch will go as a few more seconds in the first round and that was turning into a KO for Izzy.

Rumble news was quite a shock, the dude was a wrecking machine when he got to light heavy. How he was ever at welterweight/middleweight is beyond me, he must have been so limited physically for a good half of his career. The cause sounds like a pretty grim situation, sadly lines up with some comments he made a while back saying he was in a really bad spot and to pray for him :(:

"organ failure due to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and hemophagocytic lymph histiocytosis"
 
Turns out Jiri has seriously injured his shoulder and is vacating the belt so he doesn't hold up the division. Damn.. Top man for stepping aside though.

UFC then offered Glover the Ankalaev fight for the vacant belt but he turned them down as he wanted more time to train for a different style of fighter, and asked for Jan instead. They said no, so now it's Jan vs Ankalaev for the belt!

Apparently Jan had no idea about any of this as he had no Internet on the plane, and found out when he landed.

Good match up that and fair play for the fighters to take it at a couple of weeks notice. It's impressive how efficient the UFC are with making match ups. Part of what makes the sport so good imo, although appreciate they hold all the cards. Put Dana White in charge of boxing and we'd have Fury Joshua next week :D

Good card this weekend for a free Fight Night. RDA in his 46th pro fight . I really don't know how they do it.

Ughhhhhhhhhh I'm up... alive in body if not in spirit. :D

Really looking forward to this card, some good matchups. I really hope Paddy gets his first L to teach him bit of humility. I also really hope that Jan gets the belt... but I fear Ankalaev will be too much for him.

The judges are independent and state-commissioned. The UFC is undoubtedly corrupt but they don't control the judges. The judges are just often god damn awful and run according to their own agendas.

But yeah, Paddy did not win that fight and what's more his ego is going sky-high making him say lots of delusional things. I wasn't a big fan of him before all the Ariel stuff kicked off, but now I think he is a turning into a complete *****.

Till is a goner now - lost 5 of last 6. No one survives that.

Rosa Jr looked excellent - real talent for his age.

Horrible judging in the Paddy fight - never in a million years did he win that fight.
 
Till is basically finished at this point. He couldn’t go after a guy who was completely gassed and standing literally right in front of him. He needs to go back down to 170

Glad Paddy won but, I’ve said it before, he gets tagged way too much. Can’t believe his striking defence hasn’t improved at all. If he doesn’t tighten that up he’s getting sparked out at some point.

Jan ballsed up that main even as well. A guy who has zero legs after 2 rounds and he can’t keep the fight standing.
