 Didn't know a leg can even bend like that.
Well, it can bend any direction once the ligaments have all been disconnected. Not clicking as I do not need to see that again.

I think it's just a different world view these guys. Getting your knee hurt while getting paid loads of money to play sport? Not a big deal. Makes us pampered westerners look soft :P

Bit of an underwhelming card. For a decision in a title fight you can’t expect to win a close contest if you’re the challenger, and ultimately Usman got kicked a lot and didn’t have much to show for all the pressure.

Gaethje fight deserved a finish but at least satisfied the blood for the blood god requirement for the night.

Mokhaev may have won the fight but simultaneously ruined his MMA career if his knee is perma-rekt from doing his best Tony Ferguson impression. Should have taken the L and kept 2 legs to fight another day.

That was a beautiful armbar from Gunny

Gaethje vs Fiziev awesome as expected

So glad Edwards won that fight, Usman talking trash inbetween rounds like he was winning. There were a couple of fouls in there but he’s constantly complaining to the ref, he called at least 2 fouls (eye poke and nut shot) that weren’t. He’s got form in that as well.

I didnt think Leon lost a round aside from the one where he lost a point and even that was close.

Should be a good main event tonight, pity the rest of the card is dire.
Watching the main now. To be fair some good fights prior to it. It’s always a bit of a slog when there’s two womens bouts on the card mind. Skipped through the Holm fight, looks like it was 15 minutes if her lying on top of her opponent. Normally I’m into that kind of thing, not in the UFC ring though :D

The Barber Vs Lee fight was pretty good, but the card overall was a snooze.

Next one's a belter though all the way down.

I bet some of the "just bleed" type UFC fans aren't too happy either! It certainly doesn't hurt the legitimacy of the UFC as much as the whole power slap debacle though.
They're allowed more leeway with their striking in WWF. I've seen them kicking people in the upper body when they're down on the ground. It's only the special anti-slip coating on the ring floor that stops their foot short - thus avoiding any real damage.

Anyway, hopefully we'll soon be getting such legendary match-ups as Stink-Face vs. the Undercracker.

As long as the rules aren't changed and UFC remains an actual sport instead of pantomime I don't really give a rat's. Don't care one bit about the characters or what they get up to outside the ring.....

Wow...

What a decisive victory for Izzy. I must admid that while I thought Pereira would win, I also figured that Izzy would come in HARD. Izzy had everything to lose, his career, pride and reputation was on the line, and he did not screw around. Full credit to Izzy, he cause Pereira unawares and overconfident. No title defence = no real champ.

Great victory for
Izzy, Periera
is just such a big dude for that weight he’s a presence. Masvidal looked pretty poor too, disappointed but seems the right time to call it a day.
No-one can force anyone to use spoiler tags, but there's a reason the MMA sub on Reddit asks people to do it in the time following a fight due to plenty of people not seeing it until the next day.

Top tip if your that bothered is to not look at social media mainly MMA threads without knowing the result I don’t because most of the time it’s spoilt.

It’s been discussed many times in here and doesn’t make sense to enter such threads having not seen the result, strange if you ask me.
