Roy is just a freak of nature....just able to absorb punishment like no other.

JDS vs Lesnar/Reem?

Yup to both counts. I would like to see the loser of Lesnar/Reem face the rapidly shrinking Big Country. Maybe Carwin facing one of them as well. Mir is looking huge these days as well.

Like I said, it's really strange that they didn't make more of an event out of this. Dana must have known that this was their opportunity to really get the sport mainstream and attract all those people who maybe tuned in out of curiosity. You would have thought they'd make it a full card event all showing on Fox, and just stack the card with big names. I know they'll have other opportunities, but they might have lost some of those people who tuned in out of curiosity because they didn't put on enough of a spectacle. Very, very strange decision from Dana, I'd like to know his reasoning behind it.

Couldn't be bothered to stay up and watch it so caught up this morning... didnt take long. Dana has to be gutted about that for a network premier, as evidenced by the absolute **** fit he threw in the post fight analysis.

Fight didnt really show us anything we didnt already know, JDS can punch... yeah thats about it.

What happened to the prelims? From what I gather Bendo vs Guida was meant to be awesome but it wasnt on the main show, wtf?

Hmm fights were decent.

Clay fight was class.

But over all what a horrible show fox put on. Was that live? is that what they seen on TV?

Have to say it was a top quality stream on facebook last night, great prelim show. Ended up going to bed and watching the JDS/Cain fight this morning. JDS is the man, glad he won, top bloke.

Dustin Poirier is looking good too.

Overall I think they tried to set it up too much like a big boxing match. Didn't really work, can't blame the fighters though.

What a knockout! Thankfully my neighbours are in Australia otherwise I would have woken them up screaming when that punch behind the ear landed on Cain. :p

I watched the post fight press conference and Dana looked well ****ed off. I know he blows hot and cold but who is he to be giving fight advice to Cain. The fight lasted 64 seconds, the shortest UFC main event ever. The fighters had barely any time to settle into any game plan. Not only that, to me he was disrespectful of the new champ sitting mere feet away from him.

It just showed how much he wanted Cain to win to break into the Mexican market. There's a lot more money there than in Brazil, and with 2 of the belts already held by Brazilian fighters, targetting the Mexican market and promoting a mexican champion would make more financial sense to him and the UFC. I like Dana White, but he needs to remind himself that he's a promoter and shouldn't be showing that sort of favouritism or general arsey attitude now they are trying to bring mma to a wider audience, it just reflects badly on him and the UFC.

Well done to JDS! Really over the moon for him. He certainly has an interesting fight ahead of him.

It did feel very different under fox but I sorta liked it.... its gonna take time to get use to the new Fox look I admit.

Yeah dana and brock both looked mad but it is what it is, hopefully they will learn and put up 2-3 top matches with perhaps 1 belt on the line or 2 even.... and more importantly put on more matches and make a night of it like.

I think the entire audience in the stadium left it quicker then the entire fight duration;)

I was sure it was Cains time but you know what JDS deserves this and it mixes up the heavyweight division which is what we want... when we have ex champions and champions fighting the top fights just how good is that.

Fox deal doesn't start 'til next year, you're right. This was just a teaser. I'm sure the poor/obvious production (which I haven't seen) was to introduce people to the UFC, not to apease hardcore fans.
