Rampage said he had a fractured hand also....

Yeah pretty poor UFC event, no major knock outs of thrilling moments.... it obviously had some potential with a lot of good guys but it just didnt roll that way in the end, now if the main event had not been canned it would have been something else :)

Dana white has said he was actually didnt like Mir and roy gassing out so quickly but he did later change his mind and said Mir did a good job, but both the top 2 events left a bad taste in his mouth.

Rampage if his hand heals he gets jon jones and if his hand doesnt heal in time its machida ! either one would be a great match up and very interesting...

Anyhow not this weekend but the following Sat we see JDS vs Carwin :)

Much more interested to see Machida vs Jones, Rampage doesn't want it enough. He is too slow and has nothing if he gets put on his back.

Machida on the other hand, he is fast elusive, will punish Jones if he misses with strikes. An has a decent submission game if he is put on his back.

Either of them could knock Jones out, but I think Machida has a better chance of doing so.

you do know he is like an all time great for his martial art and is coaching some of the UFC fighters? specifically machida and silva but im sure he will be teaching a lot of fighters in their camp, is it the nogueira brothers?

He is a troll, and Blackhouse are using him effectively.

Making out like he taught Machida and Silva a front kick, those 2 have probably known a front kick since they started martial arts. Especially Machida with his strong Karate background.

Have you seen the training videos? He can't even kick above waist height.

Knew Ramsay would loose that tony guy can take some punches hes just super tough and accurate, powerful boxing, striking and did u see his take down defense.... he knew ramsay would go to wrestling so he trained on that if anything he was a little sluggish and slow on the boxing and striking side, but he sure loosened up :)

He deserves it while hes a demon while on the bender he did apologise 10x on the show to all, its quite clear he should stay away from drinking!

shocked about pettis perhaps he should not have waited so long to get back into the ring and it was partial ring rust...then again clay did say hes gonna show him what its like to be in the UFC and show him who the real no1 contender is, I heard Joe saying Clays never been knocked out? Im surprised then Pettis was attempting to Strike perhaps he should have tried to take him down rather then fight off his back and submit him.... clays not exactly easy to work out. But props to Clay he said exactly what he was gonna do... but is he now the No1 contender?

Did Clay really say that because next in line is Miller, Dana white even said so despite Clay's win.

Well behind Maynard obviously.

Don't get me wrong I like Guida, but that fight was so exciting because Sanchez was smashing him the **** up!

Loved it when he got dropped from a head kick, hit the mat and bounced back up. Was crazy.

On a related note seems Sanchez vs Hughes might be on for UFC 135.

Dana White has announced all main events in the future will be 5 rounders, this doesn't include ones that are already signed such as Carwin vs JDS and Evans vs Davis.

Also they are adding a 125lbs division, no date for that but it's in the works.

UFC president Dana White said that the promotion has decided that all main-event non-title bouts – whether on pay-per-view, Spike TV or Versus – will now be scheduled as five-rounders.

However, the adjustment will not apply to any currently scheduled bouts, such as UFC 133's Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis tilt, or UFC on Versus 5's Dan Hardy vs. Chris Lytle contest.

"From this day forward, as we speak right here, right now today, every fight that is a main event that is not a title fight will be a five-round fight," White said. "So all the fights that will be made from this day forward will be five rounds."

I think you are all underestimating Fedor, he had 2 losses in a row. 1 because he stupidly jumped in the guard of probably the best HW submission guy there is right now, and 2 got manhandled by a 265+ heavyweight with a decent ground game himself.

Hardly like he lost to bums, he is going to come in motivated and bigger than Hendo. He has just as much power as Hendo, he is faster and has a better submission game.

He has beaten far better wrestlers than Hendo in the past.

It should be a competitive fight but I see Fedor winning.

Really think he should be fighting at 205, he has lots of spare weight he isn't really cut up, seems to have lots of un needed muscle.

Bet he is dwarfed by someone like Forrest Griffin, I think he could do really well at that weight if he takes his power with him.

I think the Scott Smith one was more impressive, due to the fact after he landed that he was rolling around in pain on the floor, I don't think he even made it up for the decision did he? Can't really remember.

Literally one final punch is all he had.

To me Kongo never looked finished, yeah he dropped but he was moving almost instantly both times, and once he was up he seemed alright, as soon as he won he walked around the ring perfectly fine.

Obviously it's my opinion, both awesome finishes none the less :)

He didn't look finished? The way he dropped the second time was as if he was all the way out and he wasn't much better for the first one.

The fact he got straight up and KO'd Barry is proof he was not finished, No? He dropped yes, but instantly scrambled both times, he did look like he went out completely the 2nd time, but instantly came to.

Did you see Barry get up? He was finished.

Kongo is in no way deserving of a title shot the champ beat him not too long ago plus he hasn't beaten any top contenders, I'd quite like to see him fight Meathead after his win at the weekend.

They need to step up Meatheads competition and Kongo is about the right level I reckon.

An Kongo just knocked out his mate, so sets up the fight perfectly.

I also didn't like Meathead, he is growing on me and seems to be improving every fight. He does get tagged a lot though, but seems to have a chin to take it so far.

If not Kongo maybe Travis Browne, he folded up Struve like a deck chair with that punch last fight, that would be interesting too :)
