I just tried the demo and must say its quite good!
(I also tried NBA10, Fight Round 4 and Tiger Woods)

Are all EA sports games good or am I being brain washed

Is PES10 as good as Fifa10?

EA do tend to be rather good at sports games.

And NO, PES10 is a long way off FIFA10. PES is in decline at the moment, and has been since PES 6 (since then we've had PES 2008, 9, 10 and they're all poor, whereas FIFA has got better and better. So much so that I converted from PES last year and I doubt I'll ever go back to PES, having been a longstanding fan of the series).

just had a look on an online retailer, said it was in stock, I don't actually know when the release date is, but they said it was in stock so hopefully with the free delivery it'l be here by the weekend (working a very long week)

My experience is that preorders usually arrive on the day of release. Haven't had one arrive a day early yet

Is anyone thinking of ordering this on the PS3 and the 360?

I've been playing the demo on the PS3 but always played the "next gen" FIFA's on the 360.

The controls on the PS3 are very slick and feel very good... is it as good on the 360?

I haven't got a Gold account at the moment so I'd miss out on half of the live features of FIFA this year too on the 360 =/

But I've got a preorder for the 360 already, and with launch date rapidly approaching I'm not sure if I should cancel it and get it on the PS3 and miss out on release date gaming... or get both

So you arent gonna play online on the 360? If thats the case and its not gonna change Id get it for the PS3 - for me the online part is what keeps me playing this game...

The single player is great but you would be missing out if you dont go online IMHO...

I wouldnt buy both - for you the PS3 version has the same as the X360 with the added online stuff too if the above is correct...

Yup, did the same last year as well (Although they were both free ;p).

Prefer playing on the 360, but there are a ton of online tourneys on PS3 (+ FIWC Online) so will be getting them both!

Done it

Changed it from the 360 to the PS3, used to the PS3 controls and feel now, plus the added bonus of me not having to pay £30~ or so for Xbox Live
