***The Official Fifa 10 Thread***

Well after playing Pro Evo 4, 5, 6, 2008 and 2009 I've finally been converted to FIFA and have pre-ordered number 10 for the 360. Definitely still going to get Pro Evo 2010 when it comes down in price simply to have the game, but this year FIFA is the winner I think. Good job EA.
 
There's a good rumour that one supermarket will be doing this for £28.99 for 2 days at launch and one for £25 for 24hours on launch.

Bargaintastic if true!
 
I've just had my pre-order shipped. Shame that the Supermarkets are doing it cheaper. Oh well, guess I'll have it few more hours playing time on it.
 
apparently £25 from a certain supermarket over the counter on friday I don't believe that though I reckon it will be same price as the other one £28-99
 
Why not? CoD: WAW was £27 in the supermarket last year for a limited time. £25/£28 is hardly any difference, all I want to know is if they are doing midnight launches cos I'm betting they will be sold out come Friday lunchtime.
 
Preordered this for £31 ish so not too fussed about the price difference, but might be tempted to go and pick it up if it hasnt turned up by Friday.
 
I'm gonna drive into town on Friday, pick this up from either a big supermarket or that shop with the purple logo and then I'm gonna go home and play the nuts off it all weekend. :D

I hope all the achievements aren't going to be online related because that's what's annoying me about NHL10 at the moment, about 10 achievements are " Do X thing with your club in online team play"

Online team play in 09 was pants. Basically everybody just runs around doing what the hell they like, resulting in 21 players in one box, and a goalkeeper in the box at the other end of the pitch. Plus the fact you have to listen to 19 other screaming little annoying tweens. The normal online game is brilliant in my opinion though and as long as you aren't matched with a nob then it's really fun and a great laugh. :D

Can't wait to pick it up on Friday and I can only hope that a fair few people will be getting it on 360, not just PS3.
 
I don't think you'll have a problem finding a game on the 360 mate. Would be interesting to see how many players there on the 360 and PS3.
 
Mine will hopefully be arriving tomorrow.

I have been lucky this year. Unlike last year, where I spend every day browsing the web for information and videos months before release, and feeling like I am going to rip my hair out every day, this year I haven't really paid much attention due to being busy at work and other things going on in my life.

The release date has really come around quickly, which is awesome, as I am SOOO impatient.
