Is this a bug where in manager mode you buy a new player and it reverts your lineup back to the standard one

EG as leeds i have higgs as my keeper, but when i buy a new player ankergren isback in the team (among others), so i have to go back and move all my players around again! >_< this is the only bug that is...bugging me at the moment
 
Currently playing as Stockport on World Class drew my first 2 friendlies and won the next 4 games but still my form is down and I'm really starting to struggle because of it.

The players I have aren't the best to begin with but when they're form drops all they're stats go stupidly down, is it meant to be like this? :confused:
 
Nah, yesterday I saw you on/offline like every 5 minutes. :p

I'm not sure if I was having the same disconnection issues or not but I had three games against newbs who use Real Madrid (I played as Barca) and when I got to 4-0 the game disconnected, whether that was them quitting or these conection issues I do not know, but the victories haven't been recorded or anything.

It's great how they still pass it to Ronaldo all the time expecting to blaze past everyone, then I just pick the ball up, pass it like you would do in a real match and split the defence and BOOM!

I really love this game.

I think they've stopped any stat recording until it's sorted.

Have you checked that you don't have the "Assistant Manager" mode turned on in the Team Management screen?

If that is turned on he will automatically put together you're "best" team for that game. He'll recommend using lower players if he thinks you can still win, change things around because of fatigue and form etc...

I've noticed this too, the worst is the reserves/subs. If they don't play their form dives quite badly and they end up playing way below their normal ability.

I'd expect a drop in ability if they're not playing each game, but not a large drop.

I've noticed I just can't get some players in form either, John O'Shea as my right back just can't get into form... even if he seems to have a good game, make some good tackles and play some good balls. While Rooney and Berbatov are always in form because they generally score each game or at least one every two games.

Bug wise I've noticed the commentary be a bit weird... I've had Vidic called Rooney a few times saying that Rooney made a great challenge or interception :confused:

I've had a few weird comments about form as well in commentary. Anderson for example, he's not playing every game because I've bought Miguel Veloso... Veloso is doing well, and Anderson is between good form and his normal ability... very occasionally below par because he hasn't played. If he misplaces a pass or a tackle, the commentary says he's been playing terribly and that's what you'd expect from someone who is in a real bad spell, or "he clearly has the natural ability, that never leaves someone... but he's in a bad spell of form here."
 
I really suck at this game, I'm finding it hard to close down opposition players and break down defences. When I do manage it I can't shoot! I'm in a bit of a losing situation. For example the other day I was playing someone online and it felt every time I got the ball I was playing against like 20 players! constantly hounded! With me I'd always find it hard to pick out a good pass.

Maybe I just don't have a footballing brain.

Only played quick ranked matches so far. What other mode is the best?

I managed to upload a video yesterday and I just watched it at work now.

I just logged into my account as well, my achievements are there (at least I think all of them) and I can view my mates videos as well. :confused:
 
Quick question, me and my mate both wanted to create our own player...and play at the same time with our own player on the same team like you could in FIFA09 and have the missions you had to do for extra EXP, any way to do this in FIFA10? We are both playing on the same console.

Try doing the be a pro and play and different positions. It can help you understand where each player is meant to be and you get a feeling for the flow of the game.

Other than that its just practice, keep passing and moving and doing one-twos / triangles soon as he commits a defender and your through.

I know where your coming from though. I can get in front of goal all the time just cant ever score!
 
I was playing a few games yesterday against my brother in law and got pounded. Whats the button combination to let a pass drift passed you and turn and run on to it. I was getting peed of with my forward stopping the ball and turning.

it's definately turned off, because i turned it on once and thought "oh what the hell is htis crap" and turned it off again :p never turned it on since

but now it reverts to the original team every time i buy a player
 
Anyone else on the PS3 find that the buttons for free-kicks don't do what they should? eg. the shoot off spare man, doesn't do anything? Do you have to be within a certain distance for this to work?
