Yep I have found that, and also pressing triangle twice doesn't seem to make him stick to his line (contrary to what the manual says) this has cost me a couple of games. :mad:
 
The double Triangle just makes him backtrack slowly back to his goal - its pretty annoying how slow he is considering how often he aggressively runs out of the box - 09 GK for that trait was better...

I still haven't managed anything quite so spectacular - keeper always saves my long range efforts!
Some of the goals posted on the FIFA site are ridiculous!
 
Scored an amazing 40 yard goal online last night with Adebayor against Arsenal, jinked to the left then right with skilled dribbling, got into space and unleashed a peach of a shot right past the keeper 30 seconds after the start of half time, shame I couldn't upload it. :(
 
You have to do them with your VP though :)

I assume this counts in manager mode? (As long as your VP is in the team?)

I might start MM again with my VP so I can give him all corners, throws, penalties, free-kicks etc to help him up his stats quicker.
 
Some of them seem impossible, score a chip from outside the box? Don't think I've ever done that. Score 2 overheads? Again don't think I've ever done that. Score a diving header? Oh god not again.

The use skills to beat a man seem quite bugged as well, done it several times without registering.

The chip one isn't too hard. Have done a few of those.
 
Yeah to do the chip one slow down near the box to allow the GK to come out more - easier to do then - even if they get a glove on it and it goes in youll get the accomp.

The use skills to pass a player do seem very strict - think the whole skill move needs you to get past without running on after - using the left stick to flick the ball is part of the skill move so that helps or do a combo. Doing rainbow flicks over sometimes dont register if its not directly passing over the opposing player I think.

Getting 50 is gonna take a while...

My Right Back has 85 shot power and accuracy and 5 star ball control, they really haven't made it balanced for every position. Can create a world-class striker in a quarter of the time it takes to make a decent defender.
 
Is MM still buggy? And is there any news on a patch fix if it is? I really want to start a career but not if it's broken/buggy as hell.
