I can usually lob the keepers, but only really do it if I need the goal. Last night for example 2-2 in the last minutes of extra time, he brought his keeper right out of the box and I didn't want to risk going to pens so I chipped him. In the earlier stages of the game I prefer to shoot past or take it round the keeper, or if I'm feeling confident that I might try and rainbow flick it over the top. :cool:
 
ive been playing this offline. One thing i have trouble with is most of my goals are sortof cutbacks or crosses/passes. (mainly because they are easy lol) where i square it into the box and its a simple tap in. Although im getting better at creating goals though... i just pass the ball around a lot more.

Ive found that scoring 25 yard + curlers is a lot more difficult. It was simplicity itself in the demo. In general though i'm finding fifa10 easier than fifa09. Looking forward to getting online again :D
 
Getting ****ed off with Legendary Manager Mode. I'm Barcelona and I swear all they do for Legendary is make the AI players 2x bigger and 10x stronger. It's impossible to push them off the ball even with someone like Ibrahimovic. I'm almost sacked after about 3 games, lol.

Oh and Pique rated 88 made me laugh.
 
Just played first online match, unranked.

0-0 after 90mins, both decide for extra time then pens. 1-0 117th min and he quits :/

Will I get a win on my stats? Can I leave my PS3 on and when he comes back will it register or am I not getting the win on my stats? SO SO sad.
 
I really enjoying playing this with friends, and the odd quick match with fairly random (good) sides. I've started Manager Mode with Nottm Forest, about halfway through, and can barely score a goal on Pro. Seem to get instantly hounded off the ball, always seem to break down flanks because they get players straight back in the centre and haven't scored from 1 cross yet. Really frustrated - any tips? Vids I can watch to improve?
 
The only glitch I've come across is on FIFA 09 too, when two players on one console try to play each other and it freezes.

Oh and editing my formation when I save it crashes, I don't want to delete my profile to rectify it and lose my VP though.

I only hear peoples problems, I haven't had many. I only play manager mode to rank up my VP so don't look at other teams results so no idea if Wolves are smashing Man U or whatnot. Gameplay wise there are no problems

Yeah, because stuff like deleting your profile or not being able to play on the same console isn't important or gamebreaking in any way..

This game has more bugs than a primary school in winter...

Eh? I just said what my problem was, I wasn't defending it. It doesn't affect actual match gameplay.

No, people post their opinion on their experience with the game. I haven't come across all the bugs/glitches listed, it's not to say they're not there but to call people blind just because you have a problem with the game is just silly.

No I know you weren't defending it, just I don't understand how others cannot see blatent obvious bugs that are still there from many versions with many new bugs too.

It's ridiculous. What, did EA sound out discs that were like golden tickets? If you had one then it means you are lucky enough to be 'bug free'

I'm posting my opinion too, but as for denying that the bugs are there, when they are being said all over the place several times, and still saying they aren't there, is mad.

It's clear the game is bugged, let's just say there are 'casual' people that do not notice these...

But to my eyes there are only three bugs but I know people have seen loads, doesn't mean I don't believe people but surely it's just down to who's seen the bugs in their game.

I've played this game every day since I got it :D
