so no fifa this evening?
damn ive just been researching a bit about this. Today is the first day ive encountered this problem but after reading a thread on the EA forum (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/7566354.page) the problems been going on since the fifa release.
There are a number of different walk throughs in that thread but it seems they are hit or miss.
Anyway i just got my origin to connect, how i did this was to right click and load origin as Administrator. weird but a **** poor effort by EA and their attempt to take market share away from steam.

EA at its best :S
played my first few matches today, good fun, need to improve massively myself good things its friday 2moro. 
The 2nd game (?) that we won was fantastic, not sure what happened to the won we were losing 2-0 cos i lost connection, but the defence in that game was somewhat disorganised, we should have a few practice sessions as a team and build up some techniques, also i think as a team we should pass it around more and dominate posession even it means boring sidewards and backward passes, it's a good way of controlling the tempo and the game and building up attacks.

Damm it!!
Seems like if i dont play clubs, no one else is bothered to do so and instead i find out that some have actually jumped shipped and joined another club! Instead of various people joining different clubs, why diddnt these guys messaged eachother on origin to play some clubs?
Yes ok i have not been on clubs and i do have a valid reason. its because i am also running a league here
Come on guys dont give up on clubs! You dont need me to rally up everyone to play. If u fancy clubs. MESSAGE me and others online. Dont use teh excuse that no one is only because as i am typing this message, there is 7 people online, with 4 already playing fifa!

We didnt jump ship! we simple created a new club, I realise we didnt announce it but the main people who were active and were team oriented are now playing for Vitae FC

Sounds like a boycott to me, the EXACT same people that are in your new club were in this club too so i fail to see what was the point in creating a new one were like i said before, all u and the other 5-6 members had to do is to message eachother for a club game
IMO it was pointless to join another. OK fair enough if NONE of us where interested in clubs but 6-7 of u was and u all jumped shipped?? makes no sense whatsoever IMO.
And to top it all off, your recruiting/poaching more of my guys here
Whats funny also is that had i not messaged some of u for a game of clubs i would not have known this. Thanks for ruining our club

I'm with jon on this, i enjoyed playing clubs with you all and mostly preferred to play when lots of people were on opposed to just 2-3 as that's when i found it most enjoyable, but now that every one of the regulars has left the team, including all the people i enjoyed being on mumble with, it's probably ruined it for me personally
Not everyone wants to play the same position 24/7, it's a pitty people can't accept that, can't remember the last time i played and someone other than the usual 3 got to have a go in the striker role.

Oh come on... its not like that and you know it.
There was regular talks of creating a new club where we all knew our roles.
We had people thinking that they could drop in and spoil the fun for the regulars and this was a huge problem.
As for invites sent out they was not informed about the new club but the invites were there sent to players that were active and may want to join.
To be honest Baguio City had 32 Players in the squad list at one point yet only 6 regular players. We simply got bored of people dropping in on good results that ruined it.
Pick the dummy up jon and come play with us as this was not directed at you at all!

Thats a fact and we rotate roles when its not working, Each player has a role to play and if you dont do it correctly you are rotated... but if your hammering you role you should not be rotated due to someone feeling like they need a goal.

Each player might have a role to play but if six of you that are already in the club are on and then I join, am I not automatically going to go in defence if zero isn't on or playing in goal? Doesn't sound overly fun to me. Then, if all six of you are playing well enough in your own roles I'm stuck in defence if I wish to continue playing on that night, no?
Which could happen each time I log in?
Mumble is a problem for me - FIFA will not load if it is already open and is liable to quit to desktop without a message if it is running in the background.
