The Official FIFA 12 Club(11v11)

Not been on origin in just over a week now, been damn busy, hopefully i'll be on a bit more next month when things quiten down :)

Ugh, sorry for being pants tonight, nearly cost us a couple of games with my sloppiness... just tired that's all. I knew I was in pants form from when I was playing H2H earlier, but Jon wanted me to come on...

None of us were great. Just get annoyed with the passing being so bad. This game can be so simple but sometimes we try to do to much. Shouldn't of played I saw it coming. Seem to lack creativity at times but tomorrow is another day. Hopefully pick things up. Just we seem like a differen0team at times.

I thought the first game pickle was one of your better ones you passed it well and kept it simple.

I have not been playing too great my self as of late.

As willy says its best to keep it simple and keep the ball moving. If there's not a pass fowards pass it backwards wait for the space to open up. The more people that one the more important it is to keep it simple and hold your positions.

I know sometimes i try and be too fancy and overplay it but its normally in and around the pen box to either make space for my self or others.

I think morrow had a bit of a shocker when he joined he said he would work on his pro but i have seen little proof of it.

See, when I am not playing it all goes downhill. Lol. Anyway... Hehe. :p

These things happen now and then. We all have our bad days.

I have been trying some of the new stuff I learnt in games recently, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But I am getting an idea slowly when it is best to do it. I believe once I get good at it I will be able to keep the ball long enough to wait for people to get in space or create space for myself instead of an instant pass which is what I do a lot.

Oh and about Morrow, I like the guy but he promised to work on his pro and really has not done much. The amount his pro has improved could be done in an hour watching YouTube vids. Not to mention, when him and Xavi joined they both seemed promising. Morrow I recal had very accurate passing and I remember thinking, imagine when he gets a better pro how good he will be. Now Xavi has put in tons of time and improved his pro a lot and is also a much better player now. But Morrow at times is not as good as he was when he first joined. So not sure what to do really.

If you all are happy with Marrow then he can stay, if not I will give him a week to improve his pro, if not bye bye.

I had a few games as st last night for a change, but was useless. My passing was all over the place. :(

Yea shall we try to play tippy tappy football instead of always looking for that kilelr throughball?

it will get more or less the whole team involved in developing a goal together.

As you can see from the way i play, i tend to play this type of style. me and Doomer sometimes interchange well doing one twos for fun. what u guys reckon?

give it a go? need people to pass backwards though!

i reckon this will make the game fun for everyone and wouldnt matter if your a CB or a ST as you will be involved! lets try this tonight yeah? quick one touch football and always get into a triangle space.

thoughts?

Sure, can give that a try. But if a through ball in on, it should not be ignored I would say.

What about the Marrow situation, what do you guys think, if no opinions I will deal with it myself :P

of course, common sense really but lets be realistic, unless we are up against a **** team, most of the time, a throughball doesnt work as defenders of the opposing side deal with our tactic easily. thats why we quickly run out of ideas when we fail to run down the flanks freely.

Definitely should get some triangles going!

yea we should and like i said, it gets everyone involved. movement and awareness is key though. we need to constantly move around and make sure there is enough space between us.

i guarantee you that if it works well , clubs will be 10x more enjoyable i guarantee you that mate as everyone will have equal share of the ball.

for this to work we should not all stand on a sraight line outside the box for example. we need to be in a triangular position at all times. that means we need a few bodies inside the box as well as outside making triangle passing affective around the box. the current formation we normaly play already influences this a bit

yea im not saying its easy. but worth a try.

first phase is to get everyone agreeing of trying this way of playing because all it takes is a noob to not realize what we are doing and **** up our passing style.
