The Official FIFA 12 Club(11v11)

What would be the best formation to try it , if indeed we are going to try it.

And, to be fully effective even if there is six of us on, someone would have to go 'any' to control the defenders. You can't leave it to the dodgy ai to play this style.

Guys you must understand, I'm not fifa hateing or anything but to suggest your going to play like Barca because you've watched a video is insane.

I mean the barca players have this way of playing drummed into their heads at a very early age at the barca academy, then they add one or two more over the seaons from outside that can fit into that way of playing.

You are not going to play like Barca on fifa it's impossible, ppl dont hold position to make it work and watchign a 30sec video clip on Youtube isnt goign to transform you into Messi.

As I said I'm not hateing, You guys need to find your own style of playing not looking to copy someone else..

It was just an example of how you can slow down the tempo and pass the ball around more effectively to maintain possession.Being uber direct and getting it to the forwards as quick as possible at times doesn't always work.

Not everyone can/wants to play to this style.

Its not impossible. this is fifa a FOOTBALL VIDEO GAME. not real life footy LMAO.

i play like barca on my own 1v1. its easy and if everyone else have the same mindset, it is definitively feasible to play like that. infact it will be easy with assisted passing on, you only have to work on your positioning and learn how to pass it first time or quicker, thats it. assisted passing will take care of the accuracy of your pass 9/10 :)

Good luck playing tiki-taka with the comically inept CPU. You can't play that style in such a short computer game match that is more designed for rush and go footy, and even harder to do with human players. Only possible to play basic pass and move triangles as ANY with around 3 human players, one of them as a ball playing holding mid that can distribute the ball intelligently. Has worked for us a few games, but the CPU players are so clumsy and bad to control that it doesn't always work.

I think when they say barca style, they dont mean to the point. Teams fine but sometimes it doesnt work with some people, just need to get use to everyone. Just give the ball away as little as possible, if we have the ball they can't score. Not many people seem to be able to do the killer ball, not consistently anyway. Even some that aren't that difficult but we are getting better so can't complain!
 
It is pretty easy to do however you do need a any to do it you also need your other players to drift around looking for space rather then charging forward. You also need people who can get pass rates of 80-90% and not 60-70.

The trouble is a lot of teams just sit back and get 9-10 players behind the ball like when we played the b team and it can be very hard to break down. So there are times when you need to get the ball forward quickly before everyone gets back.

And i don't see why we cant talk about the club on here if our noisy neighbours want to talk **** let them.

True. That club did not last long. Only 2 members left in it. 1 + the creator with the awesome tactics ;)

Was funny that stuff. People jumped ship so quickly, like as if the grass was greener on that side :p
