Well in my first season of this game (I jumped straight in) as Darlington Town....I got relegated:(

I just seem to be leaking money and goals at the end. The board like my wage budget as its only 3/4 of the max, yet the money just seems to be draining out of the club!! Any ideas on how to bolster it bar selling players??? Hopefully will bounce back from Blue Square Premier next season...
 
Could try and get a big team as a parent club and get loads of their players on loan. Probably wouldn't have to pay wages and the players would be quite good and help you up the league.
 
Could do with some advice guys and gals:

Ive decided im gonna have an en-mass clear out at the end of the season. Get rid of all players that need replacing in the next 2 seasons early.

At the end of the season, this will be my team, with ages for the next season:
GK: Akinfeev (30) // Castaldo (25)
DL: Chiellini (32) //
DC: Criscito (30) // Tuia (26)
DC: Breno (27) //
DR: Zaballa (25)
MC: Fabregas (29) // Marchisio (31)
MC: Nocereno (31) //
AMC: Gourcuff (30) //
AMC: Nasri (29) //
AMC: Aguero (28) // Pato (27)
ST: Bojan (26) // Balotelli (26)

Now, i have a player in my first team whos a natural DL & DR, so depending what players i can get for DL/DR, i can play him either side.
Chiellini, Marchisio & Nocereno are getting on a bit, but theres another good season in them yet (remember that the ages above are +1 over what they are at the moment.)

These are my promcing youth players with good enough CAs:
AMC Willemse (21) 156/192
AMC: Kessler (24) 143/189
AMC: PerezPerez (23) 145/185
DC: Meissner (22) 151/181
DC: Rota (20) 134/179
DC Anderson (24) 161/185
MC/DM: Henderson (20) 147/184

The way i see that, is that i can get one of my 2 needed AMCs at the very least from that, being Willemse.
Meissner is tempting to take as my 4th DC.
And at a push, i could keep Mascherano on for another year. Meaning that i'd need to get either two DLs, or one DL and one DR, and an AMC. So 3 players basically.

Thoughts?
 
Managed to find an interesting DL at Mantova, bid £11m for him and got it accepted:

Tempted to actually click 'confirm' when it comes to buy.
But where do i play him? AMC? or DL?
He's not a natural DL, only acomplished. But his stats would make him a pretty good DL in Memphistos formation.

Thoughts? Worth getting?
 
Might as well. £11m isn't much and if you play him at DL he'll get a bit better if he plays there regularly. Then you can always put him to AMLC if you need him there.

That just leaves me with a DM & an AMC to get.
At a push, Mascherano could probably continue for another season. I'd still need an AMC though.

As a DM: Ever Banega. 27. Currently at 184/185 CA/PA. Release clause of £21m. As a replacement for Mascherano?
Banegas only flaw is that he's injury prone. But so is Mascherano?

And what do you all this of this guy for AMC-L:

His stats arnt amazing i will admit, but he has some of the key ones for a AMC.

Willian will cost me £85m.
Lulinha will cost me £40m.

Whats annoying is that ive got a brazilian AMC who ive bought. PA of 199. He's only 15 though, so i dont get him for another 2-3 seasons. :(.
 
Banega is classed as a non EU. I can only sign one per season. :(.
I dont recall who, so i'll try again when its the summer transfer window.
 
Yup.
We get more subs, but transfers are limited.
When the summer transfer window opens, it technically counts as the next season, so i'll try for Banega then.

AMC though, i can either call up one of my promicing youngsters, or hope Rosina is good enough for another season?
