Looks like you might need a ST ;) :p

I think your right. I rely on goals from the whole team rarther than Pato in this save.
Which compared to my old save is odd.

My old save i had Bojan averaging 35-40 goals a season, then 5-6 players on 10-15. Banging them in for fun.
This game i seem to be struggling for goals, despite playing with 90% of the same team bar Bojan.
I need a quality out and out striker.
I think Benezema is in order...

Huntelaar..Aguero maybe?

I like to sign Briand but it takes him a while to get up to speed and deserve a place in the starting lineup with Tevez or Rooney etc and when he does play he doesn't do very well so the fans hate him because of the wasted investment. Probably my orders not suiting him very well. :(

:(

I would've said definitely sign Nihat, but as you're in the 4th season (BoomAM), theres not much point!

Could have a ganders at Rossi?

Heh.

Briand is good, just not as good as the above.

It depends what you read. On the latest patch (depending what version you downloaded) Briand becomes the best attacking player available. However, the renewed version of the 8.02 patch (the one with the Defoe fix) has dumbed him down slightly.

Not denying hes not a good player, just doesnt seem a goal scorer like Huntelaar, Aguero etc, maybe its how young i started him in first team.

Haven't been on the net for the last couple of weeks so may have missed the boat but if anyone has any invites for FM Live left then I'd appreciate one please - email (use msn addresss) in sig :)

Decided to have a bit of a fun game, so used the editor and made AC Milan my affiliate, and added a couple players to my team, team is quite good, just saves me about £20-35m buying them :D.

Team atm;

Got Robinson Zapata and Falcao on loan at the moment though, due to WP :(

Not sure who to use, Cabanas/Huntelaar, or Briand/Huntelaar..might rotate Briand/Cabanas?

The former doesnt look very good & Aguero is more of a forward than a striker.

Just signed for Real for £42m. :(.

Its tempting to drop Pato back to AM where he did so well for me in my other game, and push Giovinco up front...

I do have a few good youngsters. Ive got:
19year old Brazilian 122/196.
17year old Irish 77/181.
18year old Slovakian 122/196

And of course, out on loan....Saivet (153/180), but again, he's a FW. :(.

Been out of the FM loop for a while, what's this 'player is going to be the next......' everyone's on about?

On a player info page it'll sometimes say that player x could be the next so and so. So say Pique of Barcelona could be the next John Terry or something. Means they are quite a similar player to that person and could be as good as them.

Just found a player touted as the next George Best! Don't know how someone can say this because its 2031 now so anyone that will have seen him play properly is nearing the end of their life!

Never noticed it. Do they have to be a certain age?
