Has anyone signed Sergio Aguero? What player tactics do they use on him? Signed him for Utd and trying to play him with Tevez or Rooney and normally one of them will have a good game and the other will be quiet, then it'll be reversed for the next game.

With a strike force of Aguero/Tevez/Rooney (and Saha/Briand but not used as often) I'd love to be terrorising teams and their defences. :p

I think Aguero is too similar to Rooney and Tevez to form a good partnership. I've had him at A. Madrid playing with Berbatov (LETHAL PARTNERSHIP) they both got almost 40 goals a season for me. At Barca I have him playing alongside Eto'o, both set as default strikers and that works well for me as well.

Hmm could be. Going to try and get Villa or Huntelaar in January. Whoever I do buy I won't have them arrive until the summer, no point in getting a top striker who is already cup tied and can't play in Europe until the next season.

Any other Villa/Huntelaar strikers you can recommend? Need a big target man I think to play off Aguero/Rooney/Tevez.

Hmm sometimes with players offering them a massive signing on fee helps them overlook an offered wage lower than their request. All I can suggest is to keep offering him a contract and see if he lowers his demands OR ask the board for more money for wages?

I was going to suggest but that it could be that Bennah's board have limited the wages for an assistant manager to £15k, regardless of the state of the overall wage budget. :(

ask the board for more money for wages?
can you not adjust the wage/transfer budget so you can offer the assman more wages?

The budget adjustments only apply to the total amount, in my case, just over £2m, not the actual limits for individual wages unfortunatelly. :(.

I think im gonna wait till his contract runs out and then resign him (usually works out cheaper iirc), failing that, i'll give Baresi a promotion.:p.

Finally, 2010 won premiership with fulham.

Had a massive takeover too.

Won FA, League Cup, Euro Cup Saver and Champions League this season.

Got an immense team now.

Wow, thats some impressive results.

When did the takeover take place? I guess they gave you a shed load of cash.

Got a shot of your team?

Started with them from the start, came 7th, then 4th, now 1st.

Yep because of getting to finals and coming in top 10, got loads of profit and got given a lot.

Sold pretty much all of my original team, and some of the players i brought i sold for double/triple.

Something that is quite confusing, many of the players i signed, mostly last season were all on a very low release clause. For example Piqué was valued at £12m+ and got him on a release fee of £6m. Similar story to many of my players.

Takeover happened start-middle of last season, giving me a huge cashflow.

Will get a shot for you.

Thats the team so far, some of them names are huge, but they are due to end of contracts, low release fees and high transfers.

Names just below the scrollbar;

Anderson, Diego, Alejandro Gomez, Van Der Vaart, Sergio Aguero, Guilherme, Carlos Vela, Welliton, Luca Toni, Toto Tamuz.

Obi Mikel came on a free towards the end of last season.

Some of the players transfers;

Diego - £17.5m
Fernandez - £11m
Nani - £7.5m
Kompany - £11m
Toni - £7m
Barragan - £6m
Riki - £7m
Aimar - £9m
Banega - £6m
Augusto - £5m
Modric - £7m
VdV - £10m
Welliton (my best signing so far) - £6.5m
Gyan - £7m
Foster - £1.2m
Rosina - £13m
Naldo - £6m
Hubschman - £0
Leyrielton - £0
Obi Mikel - £0
David Albelda - £0
Lulinha - £0
Saivet - £500k
Arshavin - £3m
Kolarov - £3m
Kleber - £3.5m

That is over the course of 3 seasons, there are many missing.

Some other signings sold;

Afonso Alves - £10m, but sold for £36m to Real Madrid
Yohann Pele - £6m, but sold for £15m
D'Alessandro - £9m, but sold for £25m

I sold the likes of Kamara, Davis etc all for about £5-6m, which allowed for many of the transfers.

What ive spent is about £37m over what i have made, overall since being in the club.

As well as the players in my main team, i have many, many in my reserves, including the likes of;

Lulinha, Saivet, Aaron, Torje, Sirl, Jose Angel Crespo, Trejo, Bottinelli, Hatem Ben Arfa, Demy De Zeeuw, Vladimir Bystrov.

Overall the team i have now is immense, with very large amounts of money still being able to be spent.

Was a very expensive team to set up, but with all the transfers going the other way, makes it all worth it.

Just won the World Cup in Penalties against Switzerland too.

Overall Hall of Fame so far, not top yet though :p.

Thought id show a shot of my Staff too, i think ive pretty much replaced every original staff member at Fulham. I originally had Mark Bowen as Assistant, but he left about a year after signing him to be a Manager at Watford. I signed Queiroz on a very high wage, and the rest of them are all pretty good;

A tip, some of them scouts are the highest rated in the game, and along with some of the Coaches. So could be some good signings for you :).

Sorry for the long write up ;). Ive missed out many people, but you get the idea.
