The most I've ever spent on a player was *ahem* 136 million on Ibrahimovic a couple of FMs back. He was so worth it though. Also plumped up 110 mil for Baptista

I never pay thats much I think the most ive stumped up is £20-25million however I will accept bids of over £40-50 mill regularly for players as i can use that money to rebuild full squads, ala what im doing at the moment with atletico madrid.
Aston Villa want Foster. He's worth £4.4m. Villa enquired and I jokingly said £15m over 24 months with nothing up front. They accepted. Should I sell him? And if so who should I replace him with? Kuszczak has long gone. VDS is out of contract at the end of the season and I won't offer him a new one. Got Hugo Lloris. Got about £8m to spend + Foster's £15m if I sell him so £23 + whatever the board give me to spend.
I've been on the Man Utd thread in the Good Players/Teams forum on the official SI Forums and I've been told Fraga. I think as in Miguel Angel Fraga. Anyone else got him or can tell me what he is like in their game? May 2009 here so anything in 2010 and beyond would be good. Ta muchly.

Fraga is pretty good, for that price might be worth going after Akinfeev?
So I've got the right Fraga yes?
And I've managed to make Aston Villa pay £20m for Foster over 24 months so I may go for Akinfeev. Course I'm happy with Lloris so I don't know if I need to replace him as such. Just need a second keeper.

Yep thats definitely the right fraga, a couple of good mexican keepers in the game, Sergio Arias isn't bad either. Akinfeev will probably not be happy as a backup keeper. I just bought an australian called Dean Bouzanis from Liverpools reserve team and he seems to be a pretty talented young keeper.
That's what I'm saying. If I get someone like Akinfeev he won't be my backup keeper. But Lloris is doing fine for me so I just want a decent backup keeper.

Got Pele in the end. Sold O'Shea for £5m and might try and get rid of Sergey Ignashevich seeing as I don't use him and can knock £10k off the wage bill.

Could still pick him up for your reserve squad for the moment if you are interested, costs about 500k and doesn't need a work permit. I do have Miguel Fraga in my game, he's my current goalie as Boruc has been injured and is out for 5 months :/ He's okay, but tends to let 1 goal a game in which is harsh sometimes against harder teams.
By the way I've just finished the 2009 season. Was just treading water until the first friendly of the 2009/10 season when I got a really unexpected message. The Czech Republic have offered me the job of managing their international team. Should I take it? My Manchester United revolution is still underway so I won't resign from that job.

I dont see why not, always worth taking any international experiences that come along. You could use it as a step up to a larger side. You can still manage as club as well after all.
Yes I agree with you. I think the Czech Republic have a good team, not a brilliant team but good. So it'll be a nice challenge to get them winning tournaments etc. Will surely also help my international reputation.

Apologies for the double post. I am wondering if anyone has done any XML work/editing on the graphics?
On the Premier League table page, in the top right of the screen, there is a wavy St George's flag image. I think it looks rubbish. On the top left there is a logo for the Premiership. I've replaced it with one I like the look of.
What I want to do is to copy it to the right of the screen so that it a) gets rid of the St George's flag and b) I have the EPL logo on both sides of the screen.
If anyone has any experience of fiddling around with this, let me know.

Sorry Marc not sure about that flag, I checked through my skins' folders but couldn't find that picture of the flag in any of the folders. Although that flag is present on all 3 of the skins, and it's the same one, maybe it's built into the game and unchangeable.
