I've heard two theories that help solve the scoring bug, if it helps, they are:

1. Having strikers that like to "Place shots" as their prefered moves.
2. Making sure the team has either a "strong understanding" or "extremely strong understanding" or they won't be ready for balls given to them.

Also make sure that your strikers have a very high composure, low composure and they'll buckle under pressue in a one-on-one situation with the keeper.

Solid defender left back or you after more of an attacking wing back? Also how much do you have to spend :)

Wow, if you've dragged them all the way up to Premier Champions and Eufa champs then that's a job very well done :) I did laugh a little at the 8k stadium, imagine being Premier champs in real life with a 8k stadium, I'd be embarrassed to be the chairman :p

left back fits my system better, but wing back is fine too, i have 30 in the back at the min, but looking for under 10mil

Guilherme should have a minimum release clause in his contract of about 10 million, maybe 10.5. He's totally awesome, gotr a 7.05 rating for me last season and currently on a 7.20 rating this season. Although if you want a proper defensive left back then I'd look at the following, depending on how much they cost in your game:

Defensive Left-Back
Gareth Bale
Giorgio Chiellini (probably overly expensive)
Domenico Criscito (probably overly expensive)
Matias Lequi (well under 10 million + good)
Thomas Vermaelen (5-6 million, solid defender)

Wing Back
Guilherme (10 million, fantastic)
Marcelo
Gael Clichy
Juan Manuel Vargas
Urby Emanuelson (< 10 million, excellent)

Combined DL and WBL
Aleksander Kolarov
Laszlo Sepsi
Gonzalo Pineda (3 - 7 million, really good)
Leighton Baines
 
got a strange issue come up, my stadium which was 'St Mary's' in Southampton has changed to 'The Sprinkler Stadium' in PORTSMOUTH!!! and is now 30000, however St Mary's under me was much bigger, i kept on badgering the board to expand which they did...... not sure what has happened. It has only changed this season. How can you view your stadium and club details?

Click on the Information text in the bar on the left or right, depending on your skin.
 
I have just started a new game, I started unemployed and took the Darlington job when it came up with 15 games to go and kept them in League Two.

I am now 20 games into my second season, in 2nd place 4 points off the top.

I have no money to spend, loans only !!

What does everyone do with the training, it is something I have never tinkered with much.

i found a guide on the SI forums, and had made training for each postion, seems to work well, as my training coach always has good news not bad
 
It could be. Don't know if this stadium issue is a bug. Load the editor up and see what there is in there about a future stadium? It could be that the board wanted a new stadium but there wasn't any space in Southampton so the board moved to Portsmouth? :confused:

I've never really played with training. :o

I use the Tug training schedules for FM08. :)

Training schemes are less important than good coaches, seen my post on about page 23 about half way down and get yourself a batch of 6 - 7 star coaches and it'll help a lot to keep your players fit so you aren't affected as much by the mid-season droop.
 
Or just go to your Tactics screen in game, and click the "Tactic" button at the top right, and click "Edit Tactics", then click the "Import" button and browse to the file on your computer.

How are people getting on in their games by the way?
