A friendly request: Anyone with any WORKING links to SS08 kits, could they post them here? I've just played a game with West Ham and I noticed their kits weren't showing up on the Overview page. For some reason there isn't a third shirt file for West Ham in the pack. I've just re-downloaded it and still nothing. So if anyone has any links to an EPL 2008 pack in the SS08 kit style with ALL the home/away/third shirts for ALL the teams I'd be most grateful. :)

Are you still after kits? I found some rar files in my recyle bin, basically the top flights of UK, Spanish, italian, french, germany and championship. I think they are all SS08 the crease kits .

Here we go: http://rapidshare.com/files/88180829/4-1-2-1-2__Fast_Strikers_a__A.C._Milan__Aug_2011_.tac.html

Notes:
General: If your playing on a wet/snowy surface, reduce the tempo to normal, or slow, and mentality to the same. Also reduce the width to normal, narrow.
On normal surfaces, put the tempo to the same as the passing.
If you have good target men, switch it on, if not, switch it off. (obviously :p).

DL/DR: Players push upto WB positions when you have the ball. I recommend having players there who are fast, good tacklers & have good concentration.

DC: Players are very defensive. These two players along with the DM will perform most of the defensive duties for you in this tactic.

DM: Players in this position are set to very defensive also. If your DM is good at long shots, then adjust the long shots to a higher value. Default for me is when i play Mascherano, adjusted to long shots for Pirlo.

MC: Players in these positions are set to be more creative than normal. Again, customise the settings a bit for the players in the positions. If they are good at long shots, bump that up, same with passing. Dont have forward runs on unless the player is fast imo, and if you do, dont set them both to that.
When you want to play more defensivly, set one of the MCs to have the same settings as the DM.

AMC: As with other positions, customise for players playing there. Default setting is excellent for VDV & Kaka in my tactics.

ST: Any strikers will do, but fast ones i recommend.

Ive found that the per game/player tweaks above and the teamtalk guide as excellent for me. Winning me two trebbles in a row as Milan.:).

Let me know how you go with it. :).

Had my best season ever finish yesterday.

I'm still with Swansea, took them up from League One to the Premiership.

First year in the Premiership we were 14th, then 3rd, 3rd again, 2nd and for the last two years we've won it :)

Last season we won every single cup we entered and won the league :D

Premier League Winners, Champions League Winners, FA Cup Winners, League Cup Winners, Community Sheild Winners and FAW Cup Winners.

Absolutely chuffed to bits :)

Henok Goitom has been an absolute revolation as a striker. He's a goal scoring machine.

From his first season to his current season (league only).
(played - scored)
22-10
35-34
38-22
32-23
4-3 (only 4 games into the season).

His best season was actually a grand total of 59 games and 56 goals.

I've got a squad pretty much full of players that I've signed at a young age and brought them up through the club.

Tactics wise I generally play 4-4-2.
One attacker dropping off.
Two central midfielders, one defensive based one attacking based (and a general better passer and intelegent player to create plays.)

I'll switch it around if I see fit, and will play 3-4-3, 4-3-3, 4-1-2-1-2, 4-1-3-2 etc...etc...

I've had offers from some big clubs in Europe and teams like United/Arsenal have asked for me but I've turned them down.

I've just been offered the Sweden job, and a job with the French side and turned them down too.

After a season like that I feel I have no reason to leave Swansea, but may do in a few years. I don't expect to do a feat like that again soon!

I find DLDR or WBL WBR if they have High anticipation then they will intercept many balls. Nicky Shorey for Reading wins multiple MoM awards for interception and key tackles for me.

been playing my current game at work, into 2011/12 season now. i decided to take the save game file home 133mb load up and play on my laptop for a while and now brought the save game back and it's 36mb - hmmmmmmmm?

You probably have the setting to compress save games in the preferences at home, but not at work.

lets see a screen shot of your team mate?

:/ sucks when that happens, after the first couple of times I warned against complacency and switched to a defensive mentality with counter attacking as it seems the computer goes gung-ho attacking.

not a bad idea i think i will try that next time

I remember the time I beat Chelsea 6-1 or something silly at home in the Carling Cup. I massively screwed up my tactics for the second leg and lost 7-2 or something like that. :o
