Using your tactic BoomAM, I beat Varese 3-0 in a pre season friendly. :) Will try the tactic later, going to have some lunch and am expecting a mate round for some PC help.

Oier Olazabal (GK)

Lauri Dalla Valle (AMC/FC)
Pablo Piatti (AMC)
Karim Benzema (FC)
Juan Manuel Mata (AMLC)
Lulinha (AMC)
John Fleck (AMC?)
Scott Sinclair (AML)
Gareth Bale (D/WB/ML)
Tommy Spurr (DLC)
Breno (DC)

Most of those should be between 20 and 25 in 2014, and mostly world class.

Notes:
General: If your playing on a wet/snowy surface, reduce the tempo to normal, or slow, and mentality to the same. Also reduce the width to normal, narrow.
On normal surfaces, put the tempo to the same as the passing.
If you have good target men, switch it on, if not, switch it off. (obviously :p).

DL/DR: Players push upto WB positions when you have the ball. I recommend having players there who are fast, good tacklers & have good concentration.

DC: Players are very defensive. These two players along with the DM will perform most of the defensive duties for you in this tactic.

DM: Players in this position are set to very defensive also. If your DM is good at long shots, then adjust the long shots to a higher value. Default for me is when i play Mascherano, adjusted to long shots for Pirlo.

MC: Players in these positions are set to be more creative than normal. Again, customise the settings a bit for the players in the positions. If they are good at long shots, bump that up, same with passing. Dont have forward runs on unless the player is fast imo, and if you do, dont set them both to that.
When you want to play more defensivly, set one of the MCs to have the same settings as the DM.

AMC: As with other positions, customise for players playing there. Default setting is excellent for VDV & Kaka in my tactics.

ST: Any strikers will do, but fast ones i recommend.



Ive found that the per game/player tweaks above and the teamtalk guide as excellent for me. Winning me two trebbles in a row as Milan.:).

not much joy with the tactics mate, lost 2 in a row and prior to that i have only lost once in 14. lots of 6's too for the ratings.

Pretty good! Does anyone have him in their team? He doesn't seem to be progressing at all in mine :confused: seems pretty average, albeit consistent so far. Certainly not the wonderkid he was hyped up to be! Strangely, Alexandre Song has just turned into a wonderkid, lol.

Also, has anyone here managed to sign Micah Richards from Man City? If so, how much for?! I've offered up to £27.5 million (not that I would have actually gone through with that), and flatly rejected. Currently also deliberating whether to sell Rosicky, Milan have offered £33m for him (£20m up front), but he's really good :(

Just lost the Charity Shield to Man U on penalties too :mad:

i have theo @ saints in 2014. He played well last season, but his stats have not really come on and i only play with one striker these days so he's not really getting many games. I offered him around at face value but no one wanted him (8 mil)

think i might try and get him playing more

Thought id try a new game, and without adjusting the budget.

Ended up spending £9.5m and receiving £4m in first window.

Manuel Coppola - 1.3m
Joel Epalle - 1m
Danut Coman - 1.3m
Jaime Correa - 250k
Sergey Ignasevich - 0
Gonzalo Pineda - 1.3m
Felipe (WBL-AML) - 1.7m
Victor Aristizabal - 500k
Thorstein - 900k
Charles-Andre Doudin - 50k
Iriome - 300k

And got a few loan players - Jonathon Evans, Krisztian Nemeth, Christian Vieri.

Quite happy so far, some of them are doing brilliantly.

Sounds good.
Does very well for me that tactic, with the tweaks as well.
Let me know how it goes for you over a season or so.

I do suggest against the bigger teams, that if they are 'strong' in the MC positions, to have one of the MC's set to the DM setting though.

Ive been tweaking a few tactics recently, and found one thats done pretty well so far.

For some reason, my DM's are scoring a fair few, i went 3 games with one of my DM's getting 4 goals, and the other 3.

I beat Liveprool 4-2, Newcastle 1-0, Birmingham 1-0, Portsmouth 4-2, Man City 2-1.

Lost to only Arsenal and Wigan (had 3 injuries and couldnt sub by then).

Drew with West Ham, Everton.

Doing well for me so far.

Havent played for a season with it yet, but its got me from 16th to 9th.

Two of my DM's have 10 goals between them :p.
 
Who are your guys best bargain buys? Upto £2.5m.

For this season so far, mine has to be Joel Epalle.

He cost me £1m.

So far in the season;

31 Apps, 15 Goals, 16 Assists, 4 MoM.

In recent games, Francesco Flachi has been good, signed him on a free for backup, and hes scored 3 goals in 7, with 2 assists with an average rating of 7.63.
